The EU deal

Exactly mate, there is always a price that people will work for. It's just not the <£5 an hour Eastern Europeans are happy with, hence why nobody will do it.
Im not sure that anyone is happy with <£5/be considering it is an illegal amount to pay in this country. Don't blame the exploited for being exploited.

Boris does seem pretty off his head in that article tbf. Don't think matey is levelling any accusations at your general out voter.
Boris is a dangerous tit ,
There has been an undertone in this thread coming from the stay posters that to want out means your labeled as some sort of oddball, read though it you dont have to look far.
I dont and never will do that as I would sooner listen to peoples views , dont have to agree with them , but dont stoop to childish stereotypes.

There are plenty of good reasons for wanting out. I'm a pretty reluctant in, myself, it's mainly due to fear of the lunatics on the Tory right being given free reign. I don't buy the apocalyptic nonsense from either side. The whole campaign has been utterly depressing and to be honest has made me question the point of democracy to an extent.

For me the main concern is that the Leave side would like a return to a prosperous pre-Common Market UK that just didn't exist.

Boris isn't wholly committed to Brexit he's just using it to set out his stall for a leadership challenge.

Ever closer union isn't the same as a "superstate" is it, with one central government dictating all affairs.

As far as I'm aware, all member states of the European Union have elected governments. I haven't seen anything to suggest the EU has any desire whatsoever to have it any other way.

So again, your statement was over the top and ridiculous.

That's like saying we're not governed by the tories because we've got an elected labour council in Liverpool.

It's absolute nonsense.

Again there you go. We aren't blaming foreigners. We are blaming the system. The system that drives down wages by importing foreigners.

Quit it with you xenophobia nonsense.

What happens if the right take control in Germany?

Yes and he also has no intention of leaving either.

If we vote leave their will be another vote. The wording will be changed.
But we'll be voting again.

Spot on. Its the equivalent of scousers moving south for work, just on a bigger scale.
Open borders only work with some sort of equality between nations.

Germany already has a moderate right wing government. Unless it elects one further to the right and pushing for a German exit, which is highly unlikely, not a lot.

Sort of defeats your argument about the tory right being given free reign if you're not worried about the german right getting the same. :coffee:
