The money usually safe , Lots of firms specialise in insuring costs in the movie business. Lucy works for the BBC, so the beeb may be involved as well.

Works freelance...last programme for the beeb was about the closure of the Television Centre I think(2013?). I saw her at Wood Lane about three years ago. Didn't she get married ?
