That's pretty awful and embarrassing. We are the smackheads of the Top flight, we'll take whatever we can for a quick fix.

Next year Man Utd will be getting 75 million a year compared to our 3 ! The gap is getting far bigger and it seriously worries me.

It's the commercial aspect that is the most painful. No growth in the Premier League. I'm not even sure how this is possible! Here is just one example. Looks like another 4 years of low income from Kitbag. We also take a similar kicking on shirt sponsorship.

Arsenal £30m per season (Puma, 2014 – 2019).
Chelsea £20m per season (Adidas, 2010 – 2018).
Liverpool £25m per season (Warrior, 2012 – 2018).
Man United £23.5m per season (Nike, 2002 – 2015).
Man City £12m per season (Nike, 2013 – 2019).
Spurs £10m per season (Under Armour, 2012 – 2017)
Everton £3.2m per season (Kitbag, 2009 – 2019)

I doubt very much that it's just lying around doing nothing - probably in far safer investments than football.
The key to a rich investor is someone who has enough "lazy money" to play with - and willing to punt on an ego/brand boost rather than a pure return on capital. Those are very few and far between.

The irony is with Everton needing so much investment in infrastructure (new stadium etc), the commercial side being on a par with Tesco's recent fiscal performance, there's probably a case for a savvy investor group to come in and do something and make a return. Maybe Bill and Co. do know what they're doing!

We're almost making as much as West Ham!
