The Everton Board Thread 2014/15

Is it time for change?

  • I'm happy with the way thing are. Kenwright and the Board should stay.

  • Kenwright and the board need to go. We need change.

Not romantic as said don't want to sell the soul of the club
You seem to be the new breed of sky loving football fan who just wants silverware at any cost, even if this means ripping up our great history.
As mentioned(will again) I might be old school on this matter
If being an Evertonian since 1983, and having experienced our team being the best, qualifies me as a sky loving football fan then guilty as charged.
Football has changed. We haven't.

Winning the right way with sound investment and an academy that produces quality
Not selling the soul of the club for somebody to use a play thing
Maybe a little old school, and maybe need to move with the times

It's 40 quid a ticket in a recession, we're staffed entirely by mercenaries like moyes, felli, lukaku and mirallas who are open about wanting to be at other clubs while getting 60k a week from us, 80% of our funding comes from murdoch's empire, our marketeing director was a kopite who insulted our fans repeatedly, our chairman has lied to fans and stopped the democratic talks with them cos they were too fraught, our club has banned certain fans from going to games cos of what they were saying online, has sued local small businesses for using 'the people club' slogan without permission and has threatened to sue this very forum if members on it use our own bloody badge.

What soul do we have to lose, exactly?

Old school eh! After winning the league in 1938/9 (thus causing WW2, after starting WW1 by winning it in 1913/14) we had 24 years winning nothing, other than promotion after relegation. So what's your opinion about the Mancunian John Moores (a Man Utd fan) buying the club, making us the 'Mersey Millionaires', buying the best players, winning the League & F.A Cup & always contenders? Presumably you would have shuddered at his acquisition of the club (pfft, we don't want Manc millionaires & silverware here!) & preferred another 24 years of failure. Now another 20 years of nothing & clock ticking. We had a black & white telly then though - just saying like.

Let me say this again
BK cannot be a good chairman as he hasn't got the financial backing or his own personal wealth
What I am saying is I don't believe any serious buyer has come in for us
I am also saying I don't want a City or Chelsea type owner, as for me you are just selling your soul to somebody whotreats your club like a play object.
I would like sound investment that could make our club grow and challenge, for me this is the right way of achieving.
Do I blame BK for everything that has gone wrong, no, but blame for certain things sit at his doorstep
Before replying with all the useless info I have heard a zillion times - please take the time to read how I see things
May not be perfect, but for sensible
