Is it time for change?

  • I'm happy with the way thing are. Kenwright and the Board should stay.

  • Kenwright and the board need to go. We need change.

I think there needs to be a consensous among the fanbase

The Kenwright out brigade need to find a middle ground that enables the other parts of the fanbase to see their point of view

They then need to pick one aspect about the current ownership that both groups agree on needs changing (the stadium issue for example) and then work together to try and get change on that

Currently, there's no united front or focus amongst the fan base, thus meaning nothing gets done

Get around a table and thrash out an agreement. Then things actually have a chance of changing

Right now, the disunity amongst the fanbase is why nothing ever gets done

All the banners and tut tutting of your fellow supporters will only get you so far guys. It's time to be more moderate and try and get people onside

The onus is on you to convince them that there is a problem, because they obviously don't agree with you and there's more of them than you. As long as they feel that way, you'll never win
 
You have to ask yourself whether new owners are good for the club. Most of the time, all new owners want is to make money. Our current board don't want to make money. What the club needs is a new Managing Director, not new owners. Someone who can reposition the club and drive it forward.

As much as i want the board out, we cant force them to give up there own property. The next best thing is sort out whos running the show.

Theres no excuse anymore with the money we're bringing in not to break of a mil or two to pay a high level experienced city type that can go out and try to improve us commercially, instead of this perma tanned buffoon who's way out his depth
 
You know, i dont even want a rich owner, im not that bothered about a Shiekh or a Russian. I just want someone with a Business brain who can cash in on this Premier League deal and improve us commercially. We as a Club are absolutely awful at Marketing ourselves. Man United did it superbly back in 1992 and look at them now, their Sponsorships are probably worth the same as EVERYTHING we earn throughout a season.

If we can get someone in with a Business brain, grows the Club commercially then we'd have no problem getting a rich buyer IMO. With good commercial deals comes big money. Its amazing how we haven't even thought of doing that. Our owner knows he's not the richest, yet he and the idiots he employs have never thought of ways to make money.

What can we as a fanbase do to try and get this to happen?

Marches?
Leaflets and flyers?
Letters?
Twitter campaign?
Petitions?

If something could be mobilised with cross fan group support, maybe change could be achieved?

Problem we have now is one side is OTT pro kenwright and the other is way OTT anti kenwright. One only wants all the board to disappear the other starts calling them Kopites and say look at the likes of pompey. Theres no middle ground

Thats the Blue Unions BIGGEST mistake. When they started if you didnt support them you were a KENWRIGHT LOVER when that, for most people wasnt the case at all, this understandably put people off them and its shown as theres been nothing of note since that march with the fella dressed as a clown.

With all due respect, and I agree with all of that by the way, who are the idiots that have employed long term the incompetent that has no idea how to grow the club commercially? And are happy to go along the path of nothingness waiting for a handout or donations as their only apparent 'plan' forward?
Sorry but I would welcome with absolute joy that Sheik or Russian or Asian or even Martian if he was prepared to make my team a power in football again.

Exactly

We need both sides to meet in the middle somewhere

Until that happens, the fanbase is essentially a non factor in the situation as there is no united front
 
That Anti-BU twitter account that had everyone biting was obviously just a kopite, but there a still genuine people out there calling the banner on saturday disgusting kopite behaviour

pretty much the fanbase on any issue. same happened with the whole martinez out issue. too much extremism either way

exactly. people think it should be new rich owner then we improve commercially when it should be the other way around. the kitbag and chang deals are a joke. its what 16m over 3 years for chang? that's awful for a top 8 prem team
