If they are going to go to the fans because the price is too high then by definition it would be a hostile takeover. I don't think they would give a damn about a broken contract.

yes because some dude from india (for example) is going to pay the financial penalty the agreement dictates just to let Evertonians know he wanted to buy the club isn't he, bit of common sense wouldn't go amiss.

Contracts are broken all the time. If the right person was serious and Bill was standing in the way we would know. Somehow.
 

I'm struggling to see why these guys never gained a serious amount of momentum. Very strange.



 
I would value us at closer 400 so you are lucky I'm not the one in charge.
