Is it time for change?

  • I'm happy with the way thing are. Kenwright and the Board should stay.

  • Kenwright and the board need to go. We need change.

Not trying put words into your mouth, i would say 'you are saying' if i was trying to do that, but i do believe that's what you think. But i'd let you make a fool of yourself by saying something like that before i claim you actually said it myself.

Let's be honest, i'm really not out of my depth and the fact you tried making a sneaky edit to your post by calling me a little boy, shows more about yourself than it does about me.
Really. *shakes head*

Then if you've not put words in my mouth go and point out exactly where I said that we were well run and that I was happy with Kenwright and Co? In your own time love.......

Boring beyond belief

Every strategy has its risks, and this is Bill's
Really? Not having that myself. If his initial strategy was to earn a tasty return via an exit strategy then he'd have sold it and doubled (or better) his return by now. Making money out of it was maybe how he sold the idea to those who've bolstered his position but I don't think it was ever his primary or even secondary goal.

We need a new owner who is more dynamic and is prepared (and capable) of even short term funding of the business. I have a feeling that Bills health might be the catalyst for change.

I refuse to believe he pushed Kirkby to the extent that they did purely for the supposed benefit to the club.

Especially after the details came out at the enquiry

I'm not sure we disagree too much mate, however I doubt he's ever had an offer that meets his (his backer's) valuation of the club, hence the absence of a deal.

Very sad for all concerned if health brings/brought an untimely and unsatisfactory conclusion for all parties....

The only chance he saw of genuine legacy maybe? As it was the only way at that time, a new ground looked even vaguely affordable.

Only he knows the truth behind his motives there mate, we can surmise all we like (and it's fun) but we're all guessing.

You are an apologist for the board though, even to the extant of trying to shut down debate on here with dark mutterings about legal action being taken against anyone daring to ask questions about the club's finances.

I think you'll find i said 'if' mate.

So i'm a little boy, and you're calling me love, bit yewtree that mate. Trying to tell the forum something?

We don't disagree at all I don't think mate, we've touched on it before.

As for his backers blocking a sale, maybe, but in my experience venture capitalists generally look for a quick early buck. 11 years and counting without a penny return on capital employed? Doesn't sound very hard nosed to me.

No pal, I'm someone who believes that posting unsubstantiated bollocks intimating criminal wrong doing without having the stones to either back it up or even truly stand by the accusation, is bang out of order, irrespective of the target of the comments.

Sorry if little things like morals somehow make me an apologist in your world Dave.

I just don't find your input on the subject collegiate...to say the least. You need to look at yourself threatening fellow forum members with stuff like "you better get a good lawyer".

It's "bang out of order" that....imo.

Threatening? You live on another planet mate.
