The Everton Board Thread 2014/15

Is it time for change?

  • I'm happy with the way thing are. Kenwright and the Board should stay.

  • Kenwright and the board need to go. We need change.

Maybe you have a different word to use for telling someone they're going to be done for libel?
Maybe you're just an internet nobody who thinks it's alright to post unsubstantiated accusations of illegal activity without a grain of evidence to back up their ramblings, without any fear of comeback.

...there you go again.

You cant help yourself.

I don't wish to get into this again, btw. I only intervened in the first place because I know when you post on the subject it's always to play a straight bat for the major shareholders, regardless of the rights and wrongs of the matter.

The only chance he saw of genuine legacy maybe? As it was the only way at that time, a new ground looked even vaguely affordable.

Only he knows the truth behind his motives there mate, we can surmise all we like (and it's fun) but we're all guessing.

A legacy that would have been an absolute disaster for the club.

I doubt it

Kenwright must be the owner to have caused the most arguments on the Internet in history, surely that's enough of a legacy for the clown to do one.

What's all this about bad health? I know he didn't turn up to the end of season awards but maybe he had the flu, not exactly any proof to suggest he's on his last legs.

Isn't he a self made multi millionaire???

That hasn't stopped us going from £20m in assets to £40m in debt, outsourcing everything, bringing in less commercial revenue than Stoke and failing to build a new stadium 3 times as well as fail to redevelop Goodison.

With all due respect his ability to flog tickets to CATS and Blood Brothers hasn't exactly helped us too much.

He also missed the last 3 home games of the season (though did attend West Ham away as it is near his London home) and he also notably missed Andy King's funeral at St Luke's next to Goodison, when everyone else attended. Say what you like about BK, but he never misses stuff to this degree. It wasn't just the awards 'do' he missed, and the rumour of him being significantly ill was doing the rounds before he started missing things.

Dunno. But there is probably an insurance thing in place to ensure they go to who he wants them to go to.

Well mate, it seems he maybe ill from reports. If he did go to the blue sky could be a very relevant point about where his shares would go to. Does he have kids? bet none are interested in football never mind EFC.

If anything happened to BK, who gets his Everton shares?

That will depend upon to whom he has bequeathed the shares.

It's not uncommon though for a shareholder agreement to be in place which would allow other major shareholders to acquire his shares. I'm pretty sure the Board will want to retain a majority holding.

Anyway, I'm sure he'll be around for a good many years yet.

How depressing, I will have to visit Groucho's anti depressant thread now.
