In Tenerife and I just wandered into one of those little supermarkets on every corner and they were flogging English football gear: pens, wallets etc.

I was surprised to see that we were included amongst the Manchester teams, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs and Villa. I wandered over and it turned out it was all legit official club merchandise with the exception of our stuff which was all fakes.

I do despair at these missed opportunities.

I don't get why the people at Kitbag don't want to flog our stuff everywhere? It would surely make commercial sense for them.

they're totifferent situations; he used his 'friends' to secure his position. Totally different from finding someone willing to pump £500m into a club

He used his 'friends' to stave off opposition and a threat to himself. He orchestrated the media blitz, and don't forget he has done all this a few times, tried and tested tactic

Earle, Gregg etc etc were invited to the board for different reasons to establish BKs position within the club. Not one has said they were coming into throygh silly miney at the club.

If someone wants the club theyllt buy it, its that simple. I don't know how else you can explain it

Obviously we all want the next Sheik Mansour or Abramovich and all the glory hunting weapons that will be joining us if that occurs. However, that's 2 takeovers that have worked out for clubs in the Premier League.

We should get used to not being one of the super wealthy. We can bang on our board about a lot of things, but selling is an extremely risky proposition.

It may sound crazy, but maybe Everton is not appealing to anyone. Just because something is available doesn't mean its automatically going to be sold, there needs to be 2 parties; a seller and a buyer

Correct, the price is not appealing.

Selling price 150m.

defo why would you buy a club which has been asset stripped and needs a new ground? i'm past thinking we will get taken over more hopeing we NEVER get anywere near relegation again as then kenwright will be found out in a massive scale and our club will be fooked.

but we finished 5th so cool.
