The Everton Board Thread 2014/15

Is it time for change?

  • I'm happy with the way thing are. Kenwright and the Board should stay.

  • Kenwright and the board need to go. We need change.

What criminal activities have the BU been engaged in? I mean, holding meetings at the Casa, where the ale is criminally pisspoor aside, what are you implying?

He's taking the mick over someone accusing them of criminal activities earlier in the thread

Joey last week "I" was the only one mentioning a billionaire! I will say it again if the new owners are not billionaires or close to it we are better off with the stability of Bill Kemwright.
I don't get this way of thinking. Lets pretend instead of talking about the board, we were talking about a car.

You own a 1999 1.0l corsa. It's had numerous problems, damage and over time it's become untrustworthy.

You are offered another 1999 1.0l corsa in much better condition, well looked after and no history of problems, this car will be much more reliable. All you have to do is swap cars.

But instead your way of thinking is...i'll keep this car which is falling apart and untrustworthy until i get the chance to have a ferrari?

I apologise I got confused between the two of you.

By stability I presume you mean going absolutely nowhere both literally and metaphorically.

I suppose that's the crux of it at the end of the day, are you happy just existing or do you want something more as an evertonian?

.....I suggest we'd all like a sugar daddy but I always think back to the relegation battles and more specifically the Wimbledon and Coventry games and remember saying at the time that mid table mediocracy isn't so bad after all.

We absolutely can do worse than the current board. They do have things to recommend them and other clubs have fared far worse than us during the 16 years Kenwright has been in charge.

But you know, those 16 years have still probably been our worst ever 16 years as a club. The idea that we're automatically better off with Kenwright than trying our luck with a new buyer is very very unambitious and shows a real fear of change.

Kenwright was on the board then as well don't forget

Has anyone confirmed whom is the director that is now on the payroll for a couple of hundred grand and have we taken out another VIBRAC loan?

Does it have service history?

Could be worse, we could be once again giving all of our TV money from the 2015/2016 season to Vibrac ...

The above post suggests we have yes

If the Echo want to get back it,s credibility with the fans it can start by looking into this loan and working there way backwards to whom enabled bill to give him the cash to buy his shares from Gregg.

It,s all connected and it,s time the echo found some courage.

Tbh Ive never thought this loan was anything dodgy, it may be a poor deal but it isn't connected to Earl/BCR sports imo.

Thousands of companies are registered in the British Virgin Islands and Vibrac have a similar arrangement with a few other clubs
