Is it time for change?

  • I'm happy with the way thing are. Kenwright and the Board should stay.

  • Kenwright and the board need to go. We need change.

Just out of curiosity Steve how much is our board worth between them?

I haven't the faintest. The only one I could hazard a guess at is Bill Kenwright, and in his case I'd guess about £15 million. His movie making business is supported by the Film Financing institutions and in general his personal profit would not be much. His theatrical stuff is by nature hit and miss, although he has created a nice niche market for budget productions of musical successes, with the blessing and presumed support of his friends Cameron Mackintosh and Lloyd Webber. His 'pension' is guaranteed by his major interests in 'Educating Rita', the film is in most back catalogues, and the stage play is usually being performed somewhere in the world, and the film of Stepping Out, another perennial favourite worldwide. Bill invested in the bulk of the rights to Educating Rita very early, and its a regular income for him/his company. Jon Woods is worth more than Bill, and I think I've said before on here that a very reputable source told me that JW had 'supported' Bill on occasions. Earl...well his finances are presumed to be good at present, but he is a gambler in the business sense, so that could change. Its pretty certain that Earl wants profit from his Everton shares..its why he bought them...he was sold the dream of retail profits from the DK retail park, and since that failed he wants an earner from the sale of his Everton shares. The time that his shares will be most vulnerable will be when he desperately needs the money ! JW and Bill K have been very close friends for many years. I'm about to approach BK(at least his company) with a theatrical 'deal'...I've never dealt with him before, although I know many people who have...it should be an interesting experience !

I'm guessing it will change your favourable opinion of him. Just hope you can still afford the broadband in a year or two.

I'm guessing he'll make you a load of promises he wont keep.

Just a hunch.

The reason i ask is that someone once told me we have the fifth richest board in the premier league. No idea if it's true.

We could be even higher if the stories of Phillip Green being the real owner of the club are true though. ;-)

Fifth richest board? Don't think so and even if we did " they don't do jack" our board is a joke and will FOREVER hold us back.

I don't really have a favourable or unfavourable opinion about BK...and this isn't a deal that will cost me anything.....remember this is show business!
