Is it time for change?

  • I'm happy with the way thing are. Kenwright and the Board should stay.

  • Kenwright and the board need to go. We need change.

Our Chairman : Get's a lot of stick on here does 'luvvie Bill', not from me mind.
Anyone wanna swap him for the current board of directors at Southampton, who basically have sold their equivalent of Barkley, Mirallas, Baines, Jagielka and Stones these last 3 weeks.
If Everton Do ever sell, to City and the likes, we sell Big! £27 million for Fellaini, 24 for Lescott, 12 for Rodwell, and it's never a fire sale, because at the end of the day, he's a fan.
If we had a similar 'american-ised' board at Goodison, then there is every chance most of our top players wouldn't be here now. But with Bill in charge, he's employed 2 top quality managers in his time here, and we've built the proper way.
Roberto Martinez is absolute class in my eyes, and has got us back in Europe. Today, Barkley (who could be one of the clubs greatest ever players) signed a long term contract. And we could be about to break our transfer record for one of the best young strikers around.
For me, Bill Kenwright is key in all of this.

No doubt BK does some good things....if he was a Billionaire he would be perfect. I hope that he/they get the ground move right this time if it happens. No on-the-cheap generic stadium not suitable for our great club. If he nails that and sells the club he will go down in Everton folklore! ;)

In shock at this weeks business from us and well in to Everton for getting it done.

Id still like us to kick on and improve the squad further another 10-15m wide player or striker and another loan.

Thing is after all the years im sceptical with this board that Il be left disappointed come the end of the window. Just hope we don't cash in on someone this summer, can only possibly see McCarthy, or maybe Stones being made offers for and I hope to fck wer strong in our stance to keep our best players.

Anyways, this weeks been great, happy days.

I'm made up and I've moaned for long enough about them NOT spending money so I've got no qualms about 28m for Rom

but if what some people are saying about us selling someone is true, and I hope it's not, but Coleman could attract a fee and it'd kill me if he did coz he's my fave

Not as worried as the ones who have signed new deals tbh, I know contracts aren't worth much these days, just don't see them leaving so soon after penning new ones.

Its Stones and McCarthy bids that would worry me, cant be losing either of those, getting a right squad together.

We'll know in a month.

It's about time BK made a transfer like this happen. All the profit we have made over many years means it had to come. It's not like he's actually found investment

But Matty you said you'd be happy and say well done if we signed Lukaku, should I vault it or were you just spouting off?

Most Everton fans are happy. But lets not kid ourselves here it's not like the board have gave us this money we've generated it of and on the pitch. We've earned it to spend it, but it's nothing clubs do it on a regular basis, lets see if we can. And if we have ambition we must rom on his own isn't a top 4 team.

Its not true Pat.

We don't have an Abramovich or a Mansour and profit is made from the transfer market.

Eventually they would not be able to carry on making that and the TV money disappear and some serious player investment had to happen.

There is still a long way to go before people will trust them though, but well done to all for making this deal happen.

Doesn't matter where the money come from. The 'carpetbaggers' have just paid £23-28 million of real money that could have headed to the BVI. :p

So you can't do it?

You said you would didn't you, you said if we signed Lukaku you'd be very happy and say well done. To be honest I thought you'd be man enough to do, stick to your word and admit you were wrong and say that it's great news that the clubs showing the ambition you've been wanting them to do all along.

It's called being evertonians mate. Of course I'm exited of the prospect but I'm also cautious this is Everton and we have been let down before by the club. But ... If we sign him I will hold My hands up and say kenwright has done something good.
