The Everton Board Thread 2014/15

Is it time for change?

  • I'm happy with the way thing are. Kenwright and the Board should stay.

  • Kenwright and the board need to go. We need change.

Ashley apparently close to finding a buyer for Newcastle. 230 million, but 129 million of that is for the interest free loans he put into the club.

Going to be the "official" owner of Rangers.

Not a bad time to sell Spurs tbh - it's effectively a property development company with a football club thrown in.

I'd rather be the seller than the buyer

Don't confuse not being arsed with continuing a conversation with you about an issue that you've got zero objectivity around and is therefore akin to talking to a kopite - with not being able to 'defend' an obvious fact.

It's a bit much calling @davek a kopite. He brings up good points quite often, even if he is (whether unintentional or not) blind to contrary evidence.

Good decisions? What pray tell would they be? Putting out their hands with the rest of the PL owners for their cut of the extra tv revenue then passing on a fraction to his manager?

Nevertheless, you could settle down some and listen to what others have to say. I understand you're on the warpath, like a US cop searching for an unarmed black man, but knowledge without humility isn't wisdom.

Very much this. Not many clubs are profitable businesses. Any investment firm that thinks it will buy Spurs for £1B and create a return is... well, I'd mark them off the list of firms I'd let handle my money. If there's any money in this, it's through secondary and tertiary business.

Great analogy. Yeah, a pampered fat headed millionaire with connections to billionaires who make things happen for him being criticised is very definitely similar to a defenceless black man running the gauntlet of murderous racist coppers.

Kenwright would love the melodrama of that.
