Is it time for change?

  • I'm happy with the way thing are. Kenwright and the Board should stay.

  • Kenwright and the board need to go. We need change.

With no one biting on the asking price, what does the owner of a EPL football do when he WANTS to sell?

Answer = bring the price down. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...ut-his-losses-with-100m-Aston-Villa-sale.html

Wonder if the worlds greatest Evertonian thought of this revolutionary thought?

No if dont think he did either.
Different plan going by last time. Build a cheap stadium to up the price...then sell to fill the pockets of all the cronies on the "Board". Can't wait to see what plans they come up with this time....

Loads of them wishing their club were run like us. Praising our fans. One poster even wishes Newcastle 'had someone like Kenwright'.

Interesting to see how other fans view us! Puts our 'difficulties' and 'moans' into perspective.

Geordies are genetically bred with a single digit IQ. Kenwright's bull would go into hyperdrive if he though our fans were that thick.

A great comment from one of those Barcodes in that article:

Right lads, if we're going to have it, lets have it right, eh? Everton's fans aren't universally happy with Kenwright. He hasn't two brass farthings to rub together, so investment in the team is always criticised. Yet you don't see consistent mass action against him. No, they put the team first. Second, Everton have had great managers, true. But why? Moyes was not 'great' for a while at Everton, with some very poor seasons in the early days. Moyes also never won anything. But he was given time and support by fans who realised where they were in the pecking order. The class and dignity they handled Moyes with meant they were an attractive outfit to join for another quality manager, Martinez. Think a quality manager would join us the way we bleat on? Finally, yes, the Everton fans are great; they back the team and don't boo it regularly. They understand they're building for the long term and don't wish for things beyond the Club's ability. All in all, that's why they're a giant of the game, having not been demoted since the 1931!!! We could learn a lot. If Pardew goes, and it looks likely, we need to start treating our managers with patience and respect.

He is wrong about one thing, though.

We were demoted circa 1952, but I get his point.

During his time in Doha, Elstone was also asked whether foreign investment was something Everton would consider as a football club.
He added:

"Any new owner has to understand what a football club is all about - its history, heritage and values. They also have to understand what makes the club successful. If they can do that, motivated by achieving the right things, then of course new investment is to be welcomed. Everton has always been open-minded and receptive to anything that moves the Club forward.”

Just shows the club have no intention of a sale, any club open for a sale would use that opportunity to bang home the clubs search for a buyer/new stadium. That just stinks of "we don't want just any old arab throwing money at us you need to know how many people sat in the boys pen before that"

Some of that's correct, but our docility almost took us to Kirkby and inevitable decline.
