A quote that doesn't refute the post you've quoted.

He gave a quote to a piece that says he does indeed have a say in the running of the club. He does not refute the allegations in the piece either.

Joey it's from the article you posted. It's really as simple as that statement. Straight from the horses mouth. No snidey edits. Just the most concise sentence. Phil Green as of 30/7/2004 had no interests in football.

The post you quoted said Green has something to do with running the club.

You linked an article which says he has something to do with running the club..........but you left that out and only put up a quote which doesn't even refute the post you quoted in the first place.

No "snidey" edits though.

Makes the shareholder feel the glow of the feel good factor.

Makes the shareholder think they are in the box seat for a windfall.

Makes the shareholder think there is no smoke without fire.

Makes the shareholder ignore the dire performance of the money men at the club.

Makes the shareholder ignore the poor performance as per accounts only massively improved thanks to Sky.

Makes the shareholder ignore the dysfunctional board of chancers we have in place.
Most of the minor shareholders only hold a share or two each so the 'windfall' prospect is hardly life changing, and the rest of that is your subjective opinion and not necessarily the views held by each and every small shareholder

One journalist not involved in the club and its inner workings had a theory Phil Green was involved with the club, in the same article that journalist has a quote from Phil Green saying he's not involved in a football club.

Open and shut case. Move on nothing to see here.

Nope that's not what the quote says dougie and you know it.

It's not a theory as he states in the article. You also have not responded as to why Green gave those quotes directly to the writer yet never refuted what the writer has alleged.

You could not be more disingenuous if you tried.

Maybe Phil Green doesn't give a dam about crackpot theories when he's got a multi billion business to run? Maybe he feels he's told his side of the story and that's it as far as he's concerned? Why give it a second thought? its hardly life changing for him.
