That would be fine. But these are not the investors for that. They're after clubs with (relatively) low debt to leverage onto. If you think this is dislike because of 'oh businessmen', not at all. But Swansea have knocked this lot back already. Ask why. They could have really used an injection of funds to push them up the table too.
So you're suggesting that they're interested in a leveraged buy out?

...and you know this how exactly?

Now that's funny Changy..

This.

I'm as desperate for a sale as anyone, but on first look this doesn't look right.

That article makes him sound bad but at least he won the team a few titles and got them a new stadium before they became stuck in mediocrity

Booooo who wants a new carbonite stadium and be stuck in mediocrity when you can have a wooden stadium with history and be stuck in mediocrity!

Atleast if he is dodgy history has shown he's willing to sell up unlike the current regime of 24/7 investment.

Also the fanbase would be up in arms if anything iffy was afoot the Yanks couldn't hide behind "being the biggest blue" that BK has to divide the fanbase.

doddddddddddgy as anything

As opposed to the current board.

Who are 'doddddddgy as anything' yet also have no money & are incapable of building stadiums & stuff.

At least this Moores fella has a track record of growing/improving whatever he buys/invests in.

So the deal is suppose to close 6 weeks from now.
Feb 2 the day after the transfer window closes " we tried to get the deal over the line and Phil nearly had the Russian player on the private jet but there's always the summer."

And is willing to step aside and sell up if no longer wanted/interested. We wouldn't be stuck with this fella for over a decade.
