Its just a stupid pointless post...

"HEY LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME".....

Then if theres any tiny bit of news:

"I WAS RIGHT I WAS RIGHT"

If you dont want to jeapordise or go public on this then why post anything, yet actually youve said nothing?

"Guess what, ive heard something but i cant tell you"...

Its been rumoured for a while there will be some news in or before Feb...

Think you need to apologise to @ToffeeDan

I always had faith brother.

I don't think we need to worry about an asset stripping scenario, so much of the value of the club is the income stream from thw sky tv money that the profit from selling players would be erased by being relegated.

Take over and or Investment eh

Dream come true / Christmas come early

Or

Can't wait for next full years accounts some 20 months or so hence and we find the Club debt has risen by the amount of the cost of said buy out / Investment.

Caught between a rock and a hard place. I desperately want Everton to move on and have investment we've sorely been lacking but the more you read about this bidder the more he just doesn't seem what we need. More like clear as day carpet baggers.

Not that I've got any right to know as I hold no shares in Everton, but still. Wasn't there meant to be more than one interested party at the table?
I'm with you Chico. According to the Times article there have been three seriously interested parties since October but none have advanced as much as these lot.

Hopefully this public development with force the hand of the others and they also step up their interest!

I will be laughing my arse off when all BK haters will be remenessing how much he loved our club. You'll see what I mean. We will be Everton Padres soon or something crap like that

Anyone expecting a shining knight in armour coming in lashing money around with no thought of his own profit is living in cloud cuckoo land, anyone who take over us will be doing it purely as a business proposition, what we have to hope for is that the best way for them to make a sustainable profit is by making us successful on the field and off, if it happened and its not a leveraged buy out then for a start that is a huge sign it isn't going to be a asset strip, looking at the track record they did invest heavily in the baseball team originally and it was after the stadium build they cut the cloth to pay for it - which from memory is basically what Arsenals owners did with them when they had to pay off the stadium - remember Arsenal being rock bottom of the net spend 'league' throughout that time - what they ensured though was that the playing staff was at a level they could maintain their position throughout that period and then kick on again once the stadium build was fully paid off.

In short are these ideal - nope, are they looking a lot better than most out their, probably so. it's all a balance and NO takeover would be without a huge element of risk, but without one we will never achieve a single thing again besides a cup every 20-30 years and now and again a relegation battle or a rare top four challenge
