Think the timing's a bit off. For starters, a banner's not going to pressure the board into signing players. And if you're trying to tell the footballing world there's a problem at Everton, you should probably wait until there's actually a tangible problem at Everton. Finishing 12th isn't a tangible problem -- being the only PL team not spending after finishing 12th is a tangible problem.

I know their failings from a fans perspective, absolutely. But do I know the intricacies of company/business law? of how to run a company that size? Absolutely not and it seems the only person who has some sort of insight is @the esk yet I'm sure even he would confess that behind clothes doors there will be details and issues which are correctly not divluged to national media and fans. This isn't a train set, it's football club.

I think we must all remember that Everton Football Club Company Limited is a private limited company and as such the disclosure levels are less than required with public companies and quoted companies.

The accounts obviously have to meet various accounting standards and meet the requirements of the Companies Act. The auditors obviously advise on whether those standards are met.

The biggest area of concern is other operating costs and I do think from a PR perspective (albeit not required from an accounting perspective) the club would help themselves in the eyes of fans if there was more detailed explanation rather than a single line in the P&L.

I think it's more or less to get eyes on the concern.

I think they could've just posted this rather than make a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT.
I think most people are aware to be honest mate, Evertonians anyway.
Fair play for the lads who are trying to change things like and I wish them well, I just can't help but think the resources for this could have been of better use elsewhere.

It is a start and sure its been done before but the content of the banner says what needs to be said.It isnt just focusing on Kenwright it names the four of of them and they are all as guilty as each other also Manic Street Preachers line hits the nail on the head for me as we have to make a stand or the club is going to disappear into the wilderness.
If we do nothing now we are as guilty as they are as we are accepting mediocrity. We all want the same thing so instead of fighting each other lets pull together and instead of criticising the people who are trying to do something use this place as a think tank and put your own ideas forward.

There's nothing on the banner proclaiming who it's from,no mention of the BU or SOS 1878,oh dear live on sky too, what an opportunity missed to gain the media publicity they so crave.
Hmm, drone ?

It's nothing to do with results on the pitch, win lose or draw, prsssure needs to be added to the board
So the article in the Daily Mirror, and Talksport or the previous Blue Union marches, did not send the message to Bill then?
In my day fans voted with their feet by not attending - Can you not forget only Two weeks ago big Dunc thanking Bill?
We would all love to see a new buyer, have the money to compete, but BK is looking 24/7 for the right buyer, and fans clap him, RM has stated today he has players lined up wait and see!
The biggest mistake BK ever made was the King Docks ground in the now booming Liverpool one sad but true!
