There are Evertonians concerned enough to pay for and organise this and as such be afforded some respect, other than tapping away dissecting audits and looking under rocks for some semblance of truth painted in opinion, (and I include myself in that bracket), they have got up and done something hoping it will be a spark or a catalyst for the change a growing number are looking for.
I just don't see the point in "MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT AT 9" then posting the story about the banner. Just post it ffs, it's like when they made a big deal out of a board out meeting last weekend that had 100 people if even. I agree the club should be sold to someone who will actually invest in the club but jarg banners won't change anything. Money talks and unless people stop buying season tickets, kits, etc they have no reason to be compelled to sell

Yep fair play to them imo. They are trying to keep some form of momentum ( however little was gained from the talk sport chat ) and regardless if it's away, it's on Sky ( edit : BT )so there thinking is it will do more. If it gets recognition I can see them doing it again against City at home.

I think the fact that some fans are doing something, then their commitment should be applauded, however equally it is permissable to question the timing, what they hope to achieve, the PR and the follow on action, and ultimately the results of their actions.

The Board? For the club?

Not to my knowledge, but given a couple of investors at least got to the due diligence stage in the last 10 years, then there must have been a price offered or requested.

Ball park figure currently - I would say £125 million upwards. I can rationalise the £125 million in terms of opportunity cost as long as there is capital to develop the club beyond the purchase.

Figures of £200 million + just do not make sense.

Yeah I meant the club. They would also have to pay our debt and fix the stadium issue though right? How much more would that be or would that be included in the 125 million.

The £125 m is just for the equity. Debt, stadium and capital for players and commercial development are all extra.

When is a good time? 5 years ago? When it's too late? There'll never be a good time but the mood seems to be changing.

Got your attention didn't it? Got that of others too.

Agree, however 2 weeks before the closure of the window seems odd especially when the manager is still talking about additions.
if i remember right BUs last big bush died cause we suprisingly won city at home...or something like that. groups like this usually try to hit in the crack where they most propably would get momentum.

It's a very certain strategy right now, assuming we'll lose the next few games and not sign anyone of note. I believe both will happen but it's a bit early for sure. Guess they have to go with the momentum
