It's not everyone's idea of how to best push forward the message that the majority of us have had enough of this board but at the end of the day at least these supporters are getting off their arses and actually making a real effort to draw attention to how unhappy supporters are with how much of a state the club is in. Disagree and debate is all fine, but sitting in your bills behind your computer screen and making snide remarks on here or on twitter and moaning about supposed "kopite behaviour" isn't doing anything constructive whatsoever.

It really does boggle me how some are more angry with this banner idea than they are at the board for repeatedly failing and lying to us for 16 years now. No trophies, no investment and no new stadium is something to really fume about.

It's a very certain strategy right now, assuming we'll lose the next few games and not sign anyone of note. I believe both will happen but it's a bit early for sure. Guess they have to go with the momentum

+almost certainly many fans will feel this transfer window will ultimately be a let down.

i dont like this at all...

That's quite an assumption though...

Not me saying that - I'm saying that's clearly their assumption by doing this now in the absence of all logic

Well I do believe it but I think they should wait til end of October, where you'd need the most positive of all Blues to believe we'll be in a good place!!

Other than making the Everton fanbase as a whole look like divvies, this banner is going to achieve absolutely nothing. Delude yourself about media attention etc it's going to achieve nothing. Find something else to spend your money you tossers

Two papers have already picke up on the story so obviously it's doin something

Fair enough they want the board out. Who takes over?

Nobody is asking Kenwright, Woods, Earl and Green to pack their suitcases, all climb into a van together and then drive off now leaving the club with no organisation whatsover. Instead, make real efforts to move the club on. Accept that can't sell the club on their own and appoint a group of individuals to find a suitable buyer for the club and negotiate any possible sale. If/when a suitable buyer is found then they should stand aside. Many have been saying this for years and it's not like it's some unrealistic request. I don't know how many times people have to say this before other supporters who aren't sure what grasp it.

Fair enough no publicity is bad publicity but be honest mate long term it's not going to do anything. No Arab billionaire is looking at that banner and seeing it as a viable investment opportunity

"I'm happy with underachievement, falling behind traditionally much smaller clubs, being lied to, not winning trophies, passing on an iconic waterfront stadium for the want of £30M, watching our board knock back wealthy buyers by insulting sale price demands, no investment by the owners in 16 years, and near nil net spend over time despite record TV revenues . Kenwright and the Board should stay/embarrassing planes out"

Yeah OK! Come out with the worn out boring sayings like its cringeworthy, small time etc. I applaud them for attempting something which has already received media attention to the plight we are in. Not divvies or tossers at all but supporters who have had enough and are willing to say something about it. Think you have just described yourself very aptly. FFS

Accepting 20 years of no trophies, investment or any concrete efforts to build a new stadium is what's making us look like divvies mate.

laughably bad . honestly I'm embarrassed for the people behind this.
look at the size of it ! how sweet ! you couldn't read that if it was 4 rows in front of you , let alone hundreds of feet up in the air.
'if you tolerate this then your children will be next ' ???? hahahahahahahahaha !:dance:what the hell does that cryptic bs even mean ??

honestly the next time they have a meeting (which I assume consists of a handful of ringleaders , their mums , a 3 legged dog and some bloke who thought there would be a free buffet) they should make themselves a new banner ..... I think the classic film quote has never been more apt " you went full retard . you never go full retard !"

No but hopefully it will lead to more exposure in the papers like it has done already and therefore increase the pressure on the board,

People are saying its cringy or embarrassing, no what's embarrassing is when the likes of stoke and west ham feel they are our direct competitors and feel they can soon overtake us
