You two need to seriously think about putting up Ian Wright & Charlie Adam as informed sources in this debate, like really really think about it.

'you two' ? :) Well I wasn't actually...I was just saying that if they had a agreed with your stance you would have been saying they were genius.

wait im incredibly confused here, it was you who mentioned that Wright & Adam said we are a well run club

People are getting excited about Murray & Collymore because they are giving a platform for evertonians to air their views on the issue, a wider audience to the issues and greater transparency has got to be a good thing for the club whether you believe in this board or not.

Wright & Adam have no clue about whats going on and aren't taking other peoples much more informed views on board. As proven by the way he had had absolutely no idea what @the esk was talking about yesterday on 606 and tried to shout him down.

Yeah I've not put it across well at all, to busy doing to many things.

The point was, is, there's no difference between these pundits who are positive or negative about Everton regardless of intellect. If the say something that agrees with your opinion their previous stance goes out the window.

Our approach should be nimble and agile leveraged by a a growing ground support which spreads the focus of the plan across the entire media and community horizon. Eventually the whole thing will reach a critical mass point that cannot be halted or turned back by embedded, press and social media club enablers.

The key to this current media coverage is not necessarily to convince the pundits it is to use their shows as a platform to get a message to a wider audience.

Yes you have to answer their pointless questions that's part of the show, but the real objective is to get your point across to the audience.

Absolutely, I didn't/don't exactly agree with the planes but there can be zero doubt that they have brought the attention which allows more information to get to a wider audience.

Heard the Joe Jenning interview earlier with Murray, looks like this is going all the way this time. Hats off to him and anybody else putting the club in the spotlight and highlighting what has been going on for far too long.

I am hoping this finally wakes Billy liar up and makes him realise his p*** taking days are severely under scrutiny.

With respect mate, we all want the same objective, that is a properly funded football club that can compete with the wealthiest clubs in the PL on the pitch. I think we will achieve this easier if the debate is de-personalised and we stick to the logic of the argument.

Spot on, and once you negotiate past the respective show's egos you do it well lid. Keep at it.

Just listening to the guardian football podcast, our situation dismissed by some flippant French journo and barry glendening (who I usually rate) based on soton performance. what strikes me looking outside in is we have some very articulate people like @the esk challenging the media perception that we are 'well run - plucky everton'. However, what I think the pressure groups in general need to keep pressing home with the media is what do we as a fan Base, actually want? Most media are quite sniffy that we shouldn't expect a sugar daddy to rock up. Transparency, someone with an actual credible stadium plan, business acumen to expand our off pitch commercial performance, is our message and all we want. We don't need to be a city, Chelsea, psg, to achieve this, we are pretty patient fans we just need communication and honesty. As esk has said take the personal aspect out. If bill or anyone for that matter can't achieve this, they should take steps to get someone in to help or let someone else take charge. Simple as.

The next plane banner for me should be something like; "NO MORE LIES - WE WANT CHANGE". Most supporters would be onboard with that surely? Even people who support Kenwright, or at least don't agree with the protests, would agree that the club need to start being more honest and open with us instead of the 'mind your own business' attitude they've had for years now.

I've said this before, making "poor old Bill" the clear target of these protests is only going to cause folks to rally around him, instead go after the board as a whole because their record is indefensible and you will get more supporters onside. The main problem for anti-board fans has always been their PR and they need to change that. Be seen to be what the majority of them really are, just concerned fans who've had enough of seeing their club go nowhere and want to see a change in how things are being done at the top of the club. Not just blokes with personal vendettas again Kenwright. The latter didn't work last time and it won't work this.

This probably isn't going to be the most popular of posts, but the problem with most EFC protest actions is that they fall into the same failing that they accuse Kenwright of: in other words, they are just as unprofessional as he is.

IF you want to put your point across and get decent press coverage and get undecided fans on your side, you need articulate spokespeople who grasp how the media game is played. Until this latest round, those have been scarce on the ground.

I have got to say I've been impressed with the JoeJennings guy and the way he sticks to his talking points and gets them quoted (and of course @the esk). If you could get Lyndon Lloyd (TW) and the previous two together you would have the basics of a very good fan media team.
