BT haven't sold off all their assets then ? I was a bit concerned as a BT shareholder. Everton have though.
Have they?

The only assets they've sold are the Bellefield land and the patch of grass that now houses Finch Farm.

The total value of those assets were about a quarter of what Chelsea are reportedly going to bid for Stones.

It's a nonsense soundbite that has little meaning in relation to the balance sheet.

Netherton?

Bellfield was £9.3m

I try to be balanced mate, but seriously there's no case.

The only possible positive is that the business never went under. However this has to be considered against a background of a booming industry (if you consider the PL to be an industry) which has seen an enormous growth in revenues and huge amounts of capital thrown at it.

What have Everton seen? A rise in broadcasting revenues due to a collective agreement.

Yes we have done relatively well on the pitch given our finances, we have EITC, a wonderful academy and a great Former Players Foundation, but as a business we have survived just, whilst our competitors have flourished.

Granted the Board do deserve a great deal of credit for EITC and the former players Foudation. if we were a social enterprise we'd probably win the league for these. When you speak to some of the former players who've fallen on harder times - the likes of John Bailey - you realise how special Everton FC is. But we are a football club whose aim is to win trophies. The laudable success of EITC / FPF needs to be balanced with the non-core disasters of the basketball team and Everton ladies - both of whom achieved success for a short time, were celebrated by the Board and then faced with a lack of investment when needed it they swiftly fell from grace? A great deal of the Academy success is largely due to one man, Ray Hall and his team. Incidentally the age group that includes Dowell and Ledson is the last group from the under 9s of the Ray Hall era. It'll be interesting to see what's next.

Well at least we know we're the Arteta money is now.

I knew it was bad and have wanted the board gone for awhile but this @watchedeverton guy on Twitter has opened up a whole new barrel of laughs. Peter Johnson was a tit but at least he built us a megastore and re-built the park end.

If it wasn't for 3rd party player ownership we would have sold the team and leased them back.

Absolute shambles from top to bottom. No wonder we haven't found a buyer. £150-200 mill for what? A bag full of loan and mortgage documents that will see the buyer have to pay way over the asking price to reclaim what he should be getting in the price (finch farm, goodison, the megastore etc etc)

they've mortgaged us to the hilt because they had no idea of business or running a football club and mainly because they were tight arses. They've been saved time and again by TV money. Imagine if we went down in 04? These buffoons wouldn't have been able to rely on the premier league or the sky deals and there is no doubt we have ceased to exist.

Times like this when you have to thank Moyes for what remarkable work he did to keep us up and build us back into a decent side.

This shows how clueless and paranoid the people running the club are to any criticism or fan unrest. Making their PR man call up a radio station and pretend to be a supporter who backs them. It's a complete shambles, when will all people finally accept this and push for change?

Keep hearing this and IF true a disgrace, but what actual truth have we of this, the sort of truth that would stand up in a court of law.

Well in a court of law you'd get a linguistic expert to show that the voices are the same person.

Common sense & a set of ears is all thats required for this one however.

Fair do's but he is well known to a lot of people in the Board out campaign, I believe he is a former member of keioc or was at least involved. They know its him.

Worst type of rat.....if that's right. Like the trade union reptile that takes the management shilling & cacks on his mates :dodgy:

That all you need , Joey you would have done well at a Kangaroo court. That's the problem with these forums people wont let the truth get in the way of pushing their argument!
