Moral of this post: people from Luton are shit at wind-ups.

Err what's where I'm from got to do with anything? And also it wasn't a wind up. Sick of people's bile about Kenwright. Fair enough we're all fed up of the lack of investment and frustrated that we havent found a suitable buyer, but people acting like we're being run by Lord Voldermort are just pathetic. We could have it so much worse and the man deserves much more respect than what he gets from a lot of people. I just really hope he finds someone decent to buy him out in the near future.

Christ not again.

I saw one post before about "throwing in the towel", from what I got from that is it's mere common sense, the likes of City, United, Chelsea etc, richer owners, bigger wages, better players. It's something we can't really command and if we do we just end up going down the leagues.

I agree that we're not really going anywhere fast at the minute, or that's how it seems, I feel we can do better with what we've got, but at the same time, it could be so much worse - we could be like Leeds or Portsmouth, and it's all gone down the drain.

Christ, where's Joe Stalin when we need him. He'd sort this mess out surely.

Twas me saying that....

Cos when the CEO of the club says we can't afford to pay wages if we got into the champions league and attract talent....then what's the point?

On it.

Well he actually didn't, he said it's becoming harder and harder to find, which it is, without going into ridiculous amounts of debt. See United, Barca, and our neighbours.

The likes of City get away with it because they can afford it, that's why they pay more money in wages than what they rake in in total profits. We can't compete with that, and even if we could, at this moment in time, we'd have to borrow, meaning more debt and if it doesn't come off, which is likely in this climate and this business of Football, then it leads to a worse situation.

Matt, I was wondering - genuinely - why you think Kenwright will start looking at infrastructure? Do you not believe anymore, that he is getting things in order, with the basis of selling the club on?

This is a real, non jokey question (I know, it never happens) and I only ask it as you were so convinced of this being the case, back in January (£50 with Paddy Power, I think?).

Matt can be inconsistent sometimes Bab. Think he was shot in the head when in Iraq.
