Laughing here at the fury to be honest, he makes some great points, one in praticular no one has ever been able to explain.

everyone wants to spend a fortune - me included - but is that worth the club getting knee deep in debt and putting the club overall health in jepordy. Secondly there are no takers for Everton - yeah there may have been interest, but no ones put money on the table or come out publicly and said we have bid this much for Everton and its been turned down.

So basicly what people are advocateing for is a takeover thats not there or putting the club overall viability in jepordey by accumalateing debt.

Ill be honest here, many Kenwrongers i wouldnt trust with pocket money given some of the takeovers that have been envied and advocated on here at other clubs as a shining beacon of footballing progression. To put it bluntly more are driven by their frustration into hate and because of that are incapable of making a rational judgement on the situation - for me anyway - thankingfully they will never have to.

Buddy. You're talking to brick walls on this one. They don't care that you (or Prentice for that matter) ask even the most basic questions that the "Kenwright Out" brigade can never, ever answer. It's all doom and gloom for them with no positives to point to. And if you try, they'll shout you down with numerous examples of how bad it is and that were falling further and further behind.

They also (without one shred of evidence mind you) believe the Kenwright has turned down numerous offers for the club. When asked, they can't produce. Never have been able to. Never will be able to. It's all just bull**** excuses to moan and groan. So when Prentice asks a very valid question about WHO to take the club over, you sound you hear from the Kenwright Out brigade is chirping crickets because they themselves know that they have no answer for this.

Make no mistake. I believe that there is massive room for improvement from the top (Kenwright) on down the ladder but in my opinion, there's a way to go about it.

You fell at the first fence - as did Prentice. You run ahead with the notion that fans want fortunes spent. They dont. They want a board that can attract or invest themselves a few million per season to improve the squad.

You just dont get it mate.

Look, it didn't take me long to find Exhibit A of this type of "supporter."

Sorry Davek, but YOU just don't get it.

I'm still waiting for a reply to a question I asked you before last year about where your evidence is of all these supposed offers that Kenwright has turned down. Show me the evidence that they aren't looking for investment.

You didn't answer me then and I suspect you won't answer me now.

You've had an answer on that - and it wasn't proving the negative you requested, it was proving that on the one occasion we know a takeover was put forward it was shut down by Kenwright and his flunky, Jon Woods, combining to frustrate it through a bureaucratic trick.

I'm not going to spoonfeed you the details again, I've been through it before blow by blow. Do your own research.

Your one bad lad mate, bigging up Paul Gregg and Peter Johnson no offence but i cant take most of that kind of stuff seriously or credibly if im honest.

I do heart you though if im honest. X

Last night I was out with half a dozen blues, all of a similar age and have been going to the match since the sixties. The talk got around to Kenwright, everyone of us where thankful. We would all of liked an Abromovich type sugar daddy, but I think the overwhelming mood was gratefulness. This stemmed from talking about Agent J in the 90s, truly dark days in deed. I think we where on the brink then and had we dropped a division we could have still been there now.

We all thought that the club was better of now then it was in those days. The squad have improved ten fold. Instead of looking at fixtures wondering who we could beat to stay up. I and others now look forward to the season, wondering who could beat us.

We don’t understand the hate for the man that seems to populate some message boards. To some of us he is still viewed almost a saviour, successfully navigating us away from the chasm.

Kenwright was a director in Johnson's regime. He backed him to the hilt. As for the squad improving 10 fold - I'll take that argument seriously when we actually achieve something other than safety.

It's ok mate, I understand. You're still smarting at getting it all wrong yesterday with your belief that Kenwright stacked up better than Johnson over debts. It was a simple novice mistake. No shame in that.

ok, as a prior supporter of billy bulls##t i learned to distrust him over many things. but the most damning thing came from his own mouth,"investment", look that word up, it requires someone to put money into a venture, based on having confidence it will bring a greater return, so an investor looks at EFC and thinks" lord grantchester = money, will not invest. earl, green= money, will not invest" now what would YOU do in that situation?
add this to the complete mismanaging of the kings dock, kirkby and others. this is why i don't trust him. if you look at this and think different, fine. i would love to understand why, and if the best answer you can give is "who else" well, thats a very negative thought, join the board.

really? as bad as things were under agent j, we won a trophy, what have we done since? i will admit we don't look over our shoulder as much. but to say the squad is 10xs better without a trophy is insulting to those players that achieved it.
