i hear that prentice is on radio merseyside tonight. i wonder if its another smoke job for the board?

Fresh from his arse kicking from that piece of *journalism* he shat last Friday.

Trying to rehabilitate himself no doubt. He'll probably try and curry favour with a few awkward questions for the board.

Prentice is becoming more fan, than journalist these days.

I have a lot of time for him, his written work is fantastic, but he is no clearer of a plan for the club than Kenwright.

The blind leading the blind here.

*His* written work is other people's work usually.

He has previously come up with the facts though. The prospective buyers went public on our local news station. Why does this need repeating ?

Really?

Legitimate buyers?

Funny as Davek couldn't name them or quote the price offered. In fact, he couldn't come up with any details of the proposed transaction.

No name of group buying Everton. No price. No date of transaction.

No link. No source. No news item. Nothing.

Nor could you.

As Davek so elaborately said, the research on this should be pretty easy and yet he's failed on every occasion I've asked him to provide the goods. If his "research" is this suspect and shoddy, I can only conclude that most of his other posts on this forum are backed up by the same faulty reasoning that this subject has been.

Still waiting.

The truth is out there. All you need to do is search this forum with the keywords "Paul" "Gregg" and "FSF".

Good luck.

The research is pretty easy, no need to start too far from home. Link about a North West Tonight tv programme many of us actually watched. I also remember the photos of Amil Ambani's nephew in our director's box next to Blue Bill just chilling and taking in a local game prior to his monthly visit to the Lisbon.

BBC´s North West Tonight have this evening claimed of significant interest from an American source in a takeover of Everton.

Their report also claimed Bill Kenwright to have rejected three ´serious´ consortium bids within the past twelve months.

Everton manager David Moyes recently reiterated bewilderment with the lack of takeover interest in the club since being publicly placed on sale in 2008.

Moyes "Everton would be a great club to buy. We have a consistent and great fanbase and we have assets and money on the pitch.

"We have a decent training ground, we are obviously short of a stadium, and the chairman is out there lobbying. It is a good club to be involved with, it has a great history and there is a lot of value and investment on the pitch."

Here's the program - now on youtube

Quote from a Liverpool based PR Consultant David Bick who specializes in media support during football club takeovers.

"I'm aware of one deal that was going on a year or two back, a very serious investor with deep pockets. It seemed to go a long way down the track and then stopped.""

So there you go Bill - now run along and shoot some wildlife..there's a good chap

Fans feelings

The board must get the hint by now !! We want them out ! No idea how to run a football club between them !

No. Just a dilusional Blue who thinks that life is played out on the stage and a rich benefactor called Mr Darcy will turn up with a trillion pounds to give him, and we all live happilly ever after (y)

You'd think wouldn't you !!! Unfortunately I'm not so sure. Business and the comman man are worlds apart me thinks.

but there are no millionaires/billionaires out there, no one wants to buy football clubs anymore, bills a blue, stood on the boys pen, cannonball kid,etc etc etc..........
for all those who still support this board of charlatans and liars, i truly pity you, its one thing to be misled/lied to once, maybe even twice. but this bunch of lying toerags have consistantly lied and misled the supporters, and will continue to do so as long as we just bend over and take it while paying for STs(thankfully,i am no longer financially supporting these cretins).
