Witness in the last ten posts how the salient fact that Blue Union and anti kenwright fans are in the minority (as evidenced by the hearty applause for Kenwright and only a few boos the second time he was shown) has been ignored by the anti brigade. Instead, rather than deal with these issues they resort to the usual juvenile smear tactics and post pictures of kenwright next to an acknowledged dictator of a ruthless repressive third world country.

If that kind of retarded argument sways you then fair enough.

Seems like the people of the peoples club still have a bit of affection for blue bill. If anything its getting bigger the more the nasty mean spirited and vicious sorts on forums like these crawl out of the woodwork to spew their vile over a true evertonian and a man of 66.

Sounds a little forced all that mate. The people voted with their feet, not sitting in a bucket seat spilling their Chang down their chummy uncle jumpers trying to clap with one hand.

Rejoice.

32k at the match and about 600 at the march. 1500 if you include people trying to get past them to the boozers and the ground.

A majority of Everton fans are watching a minority make fools of themselves.

I want Kenwright to sell up should the right buyers come along. I'm not gonna beat up one of our own to attempt to hound him out, and it seems most Evertonians don't really think any different than me.

I've seen that BU march video. It's all dead, dead embarrassing if you ask me.

The majority of the debt cant be paid down, so this thing about a new owner coming in and paying down the debt isnt feasable. The pru deal comes with penalties attached for it to be paid down. So you either buy the club with the pru debt and a 3mill a year liability, or pay the princiapal and something similar in liability upfront. Not vetry appealing in attracting investment tbh.

It can. It would cost say £50million though rather than £27million due to "penalty fees" since the loaner will wish to ensure that it recoups money it would otherwise miss through early repayment. Its like a guarantee of revenue they won't get over a fixed period.

*NB: £50million is for illustration only.

You think 32,000 people at GP support Bill Kenwright? Erm...yeah ok.

*waves at the strange man*

32,000 attendence...1200 strong protest most of which went the game....

Crowd was down 2k....

And Kenwright got some claps. Brillaint.

He wouldn't care about those claps when the balance sheet comes in on the back the attendences that elstone said needs to be sold out for the majority of the season for the club to cover costs....

Are you happy that next season we are going to be doing the same dance, where banks need to be paid and player will be sold, when the manager and players lose faith and the club goes back to the early 90s midtable forgettables...

We've nothing to play for. There's no future now.

Were you there? Did you hear the applause?

It went like this. BK comes on big screen. Sustained applause and stomping of feet. Cuts to match footage. Then BK comes on again. Further sustained applause with a background of some booing that was almost drowned out by the support.

Sorry Davek, not everyone is filled with hate. Not everyone thinks that Evertonians publicly beating up on their own is a particularly dignified or edifying sight.

I want him gone, but i aint marching and I'll not attack him on the internet or boo him at Goodison Park.

They must be laughing their arses off across the park at us.

The implication here is false. I am of course not happy with our financial situation although other clubs are worse. All clubs sell players for a variety of reasons including funding new transfers or because an offer is too good to turn down or the player wants to move on. Pressure from the banks is not the only reason or necessarily a reason why we sold Arteta or anyone else, although if it goes to alleviate a problematic overdraft, that can only be a good thing.

There are no signs that either the players or the manager has lost faith or will lose faith. Please post supporting evidence or how you come to this conclusion.

They are trying times and we need to remain staunch in the face of the difficulties.

I want to see the club sold and Kenwright no longer in charge like many if not most Evertonians. I don't want to see our club and our chairman treated publicly like sh!t by a dubious minority in an attempt to change our financial situation.

Dragging the club through the mud. Disgraceful.

Laughing at the stomping of feet, give it a day or 2 and I swear some apoligists will be claiming roses where thrown at his feet.

That's what I heard in the lower bullens.

Perhaps I should lie my arse off like you and say Blue Union had a meeting in which only 20 people gathered and they all plotted to kill Kenwright with plastic explosives or pay to have him assassinated.

Why don't you try and refute the central points of my argument rather than responding to the tone of it.

The securitization deal costs the club £2.7m to service each year (out of a total debt servicing of £4.5M).

And all things can be renegotiated. It's no great obstacle to overcome.

It can. It would cost say £50million though rather than £27million due to "penalty fees" since the loaner will wish to ensure that it recoups money it would otherwise miss through early repayment. Its like a guarantee of revenue they won't get over a fixed period.

Loling here Dave mate, the amount of times ive heard you quote the total debt and liability and now its not a problem. Thats some swing.

Either way lads i think your glossing over this issue, it may be possible - it will incurr penalites - but from an investors point of view why the hell would you? on top of the cost of shares, the need for a new ground, squad improvements and subsequenst wages, other debt.

Honestly i dont think your looking at a takeover for minimum five years max 10-15 years.

He sounds like the sort of dangerous fanatic who Bill wants to protect us from. Thanks Bill.

*feels all safe*

You set yourself up for a fall with stuff like this. Just wait and see like everyone else before the bigmouthing.

From where I was sitting he came on the screen and there was a low background boo, nothing severe, a few grumbles of disapproval at that and a second later a gradual buildup of applause. Then it flicked off for a second and came back, same again but much faster.

And I was one of the ones who clapped. It wasn't spontaneous support, it was a response to the vile attempt at a public humiliation of a fellow fan who staked everything to bail us out of the mire.
