Unlike you lad I've been far more consistent in my views. And still am.
And where's your proof I'd of been saying anything like that lad. Go on. Go try and find it - you supposedly quoting me with made up quotes.
If you're going to try and imply something - back it up. You're all fur coat no knickers you.
REALITY? - you don't know the meaning of the word.
Welcome to the darkside mr damon you are now one of us.The kenwright out brigade will get stronger by the day you watch.
I make pertinent and informed points.
And I'm merely making some informed points - following the statement of accounts, the statements by the Chief Executive and other matters in relation to the incoming financial regulation.
FYI: For those PM-ing me. I won't be responding to anyone asking questions. So please don't bother.
As I previously said:
EVERTON 4 CHANGE - were wrong to have published Robert Elstone's letter. Completely undermined themselves. It was unprofessional. And will make any dialog with the club impossible.
And ROBERT ELSTONE is wrong to keep claiming there are no interested parties in the club etc.
And certain EFC BOARD MEMBERS are wrong to assume that the status quo is maintainable, until the UK economic situation changes.
You do make some very valid points on this subject and i am in agrrement on a lot that you say on it.
Lets do a comparison.
What should Everton's turnover be at this point in time relative to other clubs?
I'd say it should be at least £100million a year and in the £100m-£120m range.
Instead is lagging at £80million. Relative to other club's Goodisons only taking £23million a year.
On current ticket prices a 5000 increase would put that up to £26million. 10000 up to £29million. A 15000, £32million.
Combine with a £2 price increase on tickets - would put that up to nearly £40 million!
That would then put our turnover at >£100m. A figure that would put us into competition with Newcastle , Spurs and others off the field.
Its been a MASSIVE strategic error by this board - signing the exclusivity agreement and not having contingency plan not to put extra capacity in place.
They failed. They need to accept they failed.
They also need to accept that off the field - Everton's performance hasn't matched Moyes' team on it.
If anyone is going to face responsibility for the current situation it should be the man at the top. The Chairman.
And despite what any Newspaper journalist may say smoke and mirrors doesn't work here. We're not all some automatic "Kenwright out" - er out to get him. RESPONSIBILITY rests with Kenwright - for under performance.
Not someone with half a brain either boozed up in a pub either saying anything unrealistic. Have supported the chairman in the face of these types of people. Particularly up to 2008/2009.
But the financial performance of Everton, plus disingenuous statements regarding "Investment" and interested parties means I am withdrawing any support for Bill Kenwright, Earl and Woods.
You make good sense and i am glad you have seen the light but the only way out i see is us going backwards to move forewards for example getting relegated even though that would hurt it would get rid of kenwright. If we stay up just nothing will change this summer apart from a top player being sold like baines or screech and i think moyes going.
Don't be so sure.
If you have heard something which you know is going to go through for the good of our club thats great, but i cant see him going. The only way i can see him going is if we go down but if you are in the know i hope you are right we could do with some good news.
Sadly hes heard nothing, hes just assuming his little arse off, dangerous game, bookmarks all over the show.
If a trust ever does kick into gear, it needs to go after shares, and try buy out Woods and Earl, or start trying to round up remaining minor shareholders. If I knew a contribution was going towards owning a portion of the the club I'd be tempted.
Easier said than done stuff I guess though.
