Hes not tho Damon lerd, ive noticed a change in a lot of peoples viewpoint recently.

Kenwrong and his cronies are being found out by more and more people, its a joy to see.

He is.

Its a matter of fact that the credit market means Kenwright et al cannot fund capacity increases. Whereas before this October there may have been a possibility.

Its also a matter of fact that the club continues to play a line, that "who will buy the club? there's no offers on the table".

This is in the face of actual offers that this board won't publicise having been on the table. Its disingenuous. Any "muddying of the waters" will not be accepted by fans like me who actually have half a brain and know otherwise. Who know that the new regulations - mean critical investments need to be made NOW and in the next 18 months.

The latest accounts show one thing. Not the false Administration claim pedaled by some stirring wrong-uns.

It shows that with Kenwright and company in charge, the club will never expand capacity or invest in key infrastructure. Not only because they can't finance it. But because they may think - wrongly - they can hang on until the UK economy at large changes.

There has been a certain realization that they can't by some on the board. But not as conclusively as it needs to be.

Another 6 months plus of that is not in EFC's best interests with the new financial regulations incoming.

Unlike you lad I've been far more consistent in my views. And still am.

And where's your proof I'd of been saying anything like that lad. Go on. Go try and find it - you supposedly quoting me with made up quotes.

If you're going to try and imply something - back it up. You're all fur coat no knickers you.

REALITY? - you don't know the meaning of the word.

Welcome to the darkside mr damon you are now one of us.The kenwright out brigade will get stronger by the day you watch.

I make pertinent and informed points.

And I'm merely making some informed points - following the statement of accounts, the statements by the Chief Executive and other matters in relation to the incoming financial regulation.

FYI: For those PM-ing me. I won't be responding to anyone asking questions. So please don't bother.

As I previously said:

EVERTON 4 CHANGE - were wrong to have published Robert Elstone's letter. Completely undermined themselves. It was unprofessional. And will make any dialog with the club impossible.

And ROBERT ELSTONE is wrong to keep claiming there are no interested parties in the club etc.

And certain EFC BOARD MEMBERS are wrong to assume that the status quo is maintainable, until the UK economic situation changes.

You do make some very valid points on this subject and i am in agrrement on a lot that you say on it.

Lets do a comparison.

What should Everton's turnover be at this point in time relative to other clubs?

I'd say it should be at least £100million a year and in the £100m-£120m range.

Instead is lagging at £80million. Relative to other club's Goodisons only taking £23million a year.

On current ticket prices a 5000 increase would put that up to £26million. 10000 up to £29million. A 15000, £32million.

Combine with a £2 price increase on tickets - would put that up to nearly £40 million!

That would then put our turnover at >£100m. A figure that would put us into competition with Newcastle , Spurs and others off the field.

Its been a MASSIVE strategic error by this board - signing the exclusivity agreement and not having contingency plan not to put extra capacity in place.

They failed. They need to accept they failed.

They also need to accept that off the field - Everton's performance hasn't matched Moyes' team on it.

If anyone is going to face responsibility for the current situation it should be the man at the top. The Chairman.

And despite what any Newspaper journalist may say smoke and mirrors doesn't work here. We're not all some automatic "Kenwright out" - er out to get him. RESPONSIBILITY rests with Kenwright - for under performance.

Not someone with half a brain either boozed up in a pub either saying anything unrealistic. Have supported the chairman in the face of these types of people. Particularly up to 2008/2009.

But the financial performance of Everton, plus disingenuous statements regarding "Investment" and interested parties means I am withdrawing any support for Bill Kenwright, Earl and Woods.

You make good sense and i am glad you have seen the light but the only way out i see is us going backwards to move forewards for example getting relegated even though that would hurt it would get rid of kenwright. If we stay up just nothing will change this summer apart from a top player being sold like baines or screech and i think moyes going.

Don't be so sure.

If you have heard something which you know is going to go through for the good of our club thats great, but i cant see him going. The only way i can see him going is if we go down but if you are in the know i hope you are right we could do with some good news.

Sadly hes heard nothing, hes just assuming his little arse off, dangerous game, bookmarks all over the show.

If a trust ever does kick into gear, it needs to go after shares, and try buy out Woods and Earl, or start trying to round up remaining minor shareholders. If I knew a contribution was going towards owning a portion of the the club I'd be tempted.

Easier said than done stuff I guess though.

Nail on head, just paying the interest on the debt wont change anything in the boardroom apart from keeping heads above water

The tide has turned for many fans not just by a simple mood change or boardam but Matt raises some pertenent points. The latest set of accounts are unsustainable and are going to be worse next year, the club took two massive gambles that didnt pay of Kirkby (rightly or wrongly) and the new contracts. We basicly dont make enough to meet our cost base and remain competitive without digging a hole into debt.

The club is on a downward trajectory, the current board presuming there isnt massive borrowing for a stadium and i dont think there will be if they stay a few more years will mean a) we get deeper into debt, b) Sell players for captail to meet the incurred losses.

To qualify why many have changed there opinons in terms of opinion on wheather they feel the board should stay or not, the evidance was laid bare with the last set of accounts, we have stumbled into unsustainable terriotory, what was sustainable if only just has now become untenable and that can only harm the club. Translate that to evidance on the pitch and we have seen the first team squad weakened by 8 players since May, with no replacements, simply because we have overestimated our ability ot make money this year and we cant afford to keep what we have. I can understand why it needs to be done economicly, but we're all football fans. In the race to reduce our cost base the footballing progress we have made over 9 years is going to be dismantled. This is probably the first time that the footballing side and the buissness side of the club are at odds which will bring its own probalems. Simply put we wont hold what we have because we cant afford it. The current board is guilty of spending to much beleive it or not and we cant afford it.

Im not a Kenwronger or Kenwrighter i comment on what i beleive happens at the club on the best evidance in front of me, currently the buissness is looseing money more so then anytime in recent years and its not sustainable. At the same time to i beleive the board and praticularly the chairman took the gamble they did with genuine intentions of it being the right thing to do for the club i.e. give existing players massive contracts we couldnt afford. Certianly we we're all singing from the same hyme sheet in the summer in keeping our best players.

Im not one of those who thinks the current board has turned down numerous takeover attmepts, i beleive they have the best of intentions for the club, i think anyone who says otherwise has an agenda or is petending to know something the dont. For me however badly the accounts are or will be - and its clear its unsustainable - i think the board have spent to much, gambled with the best of intentions but has gone massively wrong and is now unsustainable - meaning as Matt would say they they cant afford the club.
