Hi guys, agree that Kenwright needs to go asap, he says he is constantly looking for new investors/buyer yet he spends more time sucking off Andrew Lloyd Webber making his new wizzard of oz production. When are we going to stand up like them across the park do and let Bill know what we want ?

Hello Gary. Long time no see.

So what do you think of Moyles then lad?

Ha 'Moyles' , i think he's done well for us but it doesnt look like he can get the team fired up as we always start games slow, he needs money desperately, his signings in the whole have been good, (Apart from Billy who is utter ****e). Also i think his formation (cahill behind a lone striker) is past its shelf life. I'm bemused as to how we let the Yak go out on loan as hes banging them in for Leicester and Vaughny's been called up to the under 21's and hes also out on loan. While we go and hand 'Big Vic' a ew long term contract when he looks like he will never score a goal for us, Moyes has this idea that he's a good target man and can hold the ball up when he does exactly the opposite. We need to be careful and make the remaining home games count or we could be heading for the unthinkable !

So lad what do you think of Arteta and Saha should Moyes get rid or do you think Kenwright will first?

Some economists have their say on the finances of the club. Shorn of the Echo bullsit spin, the guts of what they say is:

"...the club is living “hand to mouth. I am absolutely convinced they work very tightly on the edge of what they have got and sweat the available cash and credit coming in. There is nothing spare, no loose assets."“It pushes its income levels very hard. It is fully utilising its available credit to generate cashflow to basically fund significant player costs. It is clearly hand to mouth.”

"...the major risk for Everton was if its bankers suddenly demanded changes to the amount of debt and called all, or part, of its loans in."
He said it was telling the £8m Everton received from selling the Bellefield training ground was used to pay debt. He said: “Bellefield went to reduce the debt. They may have completed the sale of Bellefield before the transfer window, but you will have noticed it was not invested in the squad. That is probably because the bank wanted its money back.”

They also said "the decision whether to buy or sell players appeared to rest largely with the bank."

Nice.

So we can fully confirm, big players leaving in the summer and expectations should be aiming for a midtable 8th to 10 place finish in the league next season.

It was good while it lasted

I also like the point of "dont let moyes go" cos, as already mentioned, the club will fall to its knees without him

This is the PR battle now being waged by the board, yes. They're preparing the ground all the time for the grim period ahead (which is another reason to dismiss the idiotic talk of an imminent takeover *some* people would have you believe is on the cards, the board are in this for the long haul).

Of course, whether this grim future is accepted or not is another thing entirely.
