There is a real reluctance to sell the club on Kenwright and co's behalf; while the banks can be kept at bay and the teams performance is consdered adequate, they are in no rush to sell.
If either of these factors (or both) changed, then maybe we would get the new onwers we so desperatly need.

am the biggest bu supporter on here ,when have i kicked off , theres tits yes tits on here who know fuk all abut the club who keep banging on how good kenwright is ,ive just been out with 12 fellow toffs to watch the 2 euro games all we have talked about is kenwright all night what a great job hes doing selling the club .its EVERTON FOOTBALL CLUB FFS it is not a toy , bar for r familys its all we have got

All i'm saying is that i haven't seen anywhere near the level of confrontation from the non-BU side of things. People getting abuse, being told they're not 'true evertonians' if they don't support the BU etc. That's not the way to build support for a cause, by aggravating people.

Obviously it's frustrating when people come out with stuff like 'Who could do better, look what happened to X club' but that's no excuse for some of the comments that have been made on here, or on Twitter or wherever. We're all Evertonians at the end of the day, and even if somebody disagrees on a certain part of the manner in which the club operates it doesn't change that fact.

Anyway i'm going to bed, just got in from a night shift and come home to stories about Moyes leaving if Baines is sold and us buying some relegation fodder ffs.

I happened to meet and speak with Sir Terry Leahy this evening and he made an interesting point - the increased revenues from the new Sky/BT deal could work in one of two ways re any takeover at Everton - it could make a takeover more likely as revenues will increase of the next few years, but equally it might make the Everton Board believe that the club can continue without the need for new investment given revenues are set to increase.

One thing he did make clear was that it was only through the involvement of a billionaire investor that we could realistically challenge for major honours, the odd cup run aside.......

the esk makes a good point, the evidence of the past 11 years suggests Kenwright will go for the latter and hang on until a. the banks force a sale or b. he dies.
It will be the bank or grim reaper who will be our hero, there is no way kenwright and co want to sell their train set.

It's not necessarily Kenwright who wouldn't sell, he doesn't own the majority of the shares, so anyone buying shares would also have to buy from Woods, Earl or the other minor shareholders.

your correct, however, the other two hide behind kenwright, with him gone the spotlight may help hurry them out the door.
