And then look at the players hes looked at over the Years and couldnt buy thru lack of funds.

Dzeko, Hazard, Moutinho, Lucho to name just a few.

And Net spend is not Kopite speak, like they have to worry about that, they just spunk 100m on garbage.

But its that "net spend is gash so we never won anything" after spending 20mill on someone on the back of player sales. They still had 20mill to play with for eg.

Our problem has always been having no money to kick off with.

But saying surviving on 1mill net a year isn't really true. It would be if we never sold anyone...but then we would've had a boss side

You can't excuse Moyes for not playing to our maximum. With the players we've had that should be at least a cup, but at the same time the fact he's getting these players for buttons, keeping us afloat by selling them for profit and having his sides dismantled through lack of funds and ability to support a decent wage bill means a lot of the stick is unfair.

Selling a player to buy two or three is not the ideal. For Lescott we got Heitinga, Bily and Distin. I'd well prefer us to have kept Lescott and gone with a settled side that had the league's best defence, bar 1, and goals from all area's.

Moyes is competing with a massive disadvantage because the board can't support him to build a squad, not a team, a squad. All the club's we are expected to compete with have far bigger numbers of first team squad players which count's over a long season with cups.

Very true. It's why I said, if we didn't sell anyone wed be the tits.

Which is why we have the falsity of "we only survive on a low net spend". We don't. We survive by selling and buying. There is no way any club would survive with 1mill net spend per season.

You are aware what the word Net means, right?

Fair do's missed that in your first post.

BTW, I've got no problem with buying and selling players. IMO Moyes skills in this area should be used to generate the funds to rebuild Goodison. We'd be also ran's for a decade or more but at least in some way we'd be moving forward. We're not winning stuff anyway. Jelavic £20m, Baines £15m, Fellaini £30m.

There's the gladwys end and the Bullens sorted and we wouldn't even be close to being relegated.

Long term this is a great idea, im pleased more people are seeing the sense in rebuilding Goodison rather than spending fortunes taking us to a new site which will have no historical reference to us.

Great popcorn lads.

I aint biting that tho.

We should sell Fellaini and buy Finch Farm?

If the board come out and were honest and said something like...

"Listen lids, were gonna sell two ace players, but every penny of that money will be spent rebuilding Goodison" then I would be for that, it's a plan, a vision.

Short term the team may suffer, long term we have a brand new Goodison

We would have to sell the whole squad to "rebuild" Goodison tho mate.

I kid you not.

If it was as easy as, selling 1 or 2 players, im fairly sure our Board of parasites would have already done it.

Tom Hughes reckoned a piecemeal redevelopment could be done for a lot less than the £78m Kirkby would have cost.
