Yeah but our wages are too high, that they are going up in line with our income.. simply means that they are staying too high as our income goes up.
If our wages were less, then the difference between our spend and turnover would improve..

Our wages aren't high relative to our position, though. We pay about the tenth best wages in the league and are about the sixth best team.

I think it was 58 million in 2010-11, which is the last one we have the accounts for and that's only about 70% of our income. That's huge, obviously, but in premier league terms, it's not excessive. We cut that much more and we'd really struggle to be competitive.

It's like you say, we're putting in as much as we can afford, but it speaks badly of the board that what we can afford is less than pretty much everyone else in the league.

That's because your paranoia against the board clearly knows no limits.
I would go so far as to genuinely believe that Kenwright has not employed undercover thread assasins to get at you when you type bad things against him on a forum.
Just my opinion though. The guy clearly does have issues so I suppose it is possible.

I'm not saying all those who defend Kenwright and his ilk are employed by EFC, but I think there's plenty of anecdotal evidence from this and other forums to realistically believe the club are intervening in threads. Others know more than me on that issue.

I have no idea how 70% stacks up against others but I am fairly confident its a lot to us.. Therefore I stand by the stance that no matter how incompetent they are, they do give Moyes what they can from the club's coffers... therefore if we got into the CL proper, its highly likely Moyes would get a decent transfer budget because, as per usual, all monies available would go to him to spend, give to agents or increase wages...
This was my claim, not that the board were competent, just that they had backed Moyes as they could from the club's money (wouldn't dream of putting their own in of course) and that I see no reason that that would change with regards to the CL money.

Fair point. Hard to disagree with any of that.

He's behind you.

This says it all really. Part of the club's Turn the City Blue This Christmas event.

Shining images of the club onto the car park next door to the site we could have had a world class stadium on...not even the Arena itself!

A shower of complete and utter chancers well out of their depth at one of England's greatest clubs.

I'd have thought they'd have swerved that site, tbh. It just shows you how hard faced they are that they dont realise how painful that failure is to many blues.

I honestly believe they dont realise just how inept they are due to the clappers that stick behind BK

whatever happened to that story of that Prince I remember he was linked with investing in us shortly after Robert earle bought the shares in the club, I thought it was true with him and the prince having links in that planet hollywood venture

He was probably a fake sheik knowing the circles that twice bankrupt, syrup wearing belter moves in.
