I didn't vote for Kirkby. I never supported it. I could see the possible business argument but I was never for it. My heart will rule my head with all things Goodison. But many thousands of Blues did vote for it. Whether the extra millions was supposed to come from Tesco, the developer or the club's debt the point is that a large number voted for the move.

What does that have to do with it? You said you'd withdraw support for anyone who threatened EFCs history/culture. Well, Kenwright obviously did that with Destination Kirkby, so be as good as your word and withdraw your support.

Everton is not a club that will make money for an owner but outside man u & arsenal very few football clubs are.

That's now why people buy them, on the whole.

If you are an owner of a football club, you make money. The business might not, but you will.

Mr Kenwright doesnt take a salary from the club. Yet I'll be damned if he doesn't make money from it. #casinocowboy

I don't think Kirkby was that cut and dried. As evidenced by a huge number of Blues supporting it.

Suppose the Blue Union transcripts exposed Kenwright is a seriously bad way then I'd have been out there chanting. They didn't. In however many hours with the old boy all that came across was his character as a bit of a luvvie with his heart in the right place. Likewise Shepperd(sp?) and Hall ****ging off the Geordies years ago. Same too if someone came out and said they'd offered Bill 3 or 4 times what he'd paid and he told them to run and jump.

If I had a choice I would be able to make a judgement. The fact that he's an Evertonian makes me give him an extra chance yes. I don't think its an act for him. I've seen him on the Tele and he's a crap actor as it goes.

He said from the outset he didn't have millions to splash about.

He says he's open to sell. To me the fact I've not heard or seen any disgruntled parties means I believe him on this. I work with fair sized business deals as my day job. I know confidentiality agreements mean nothing. I know all agents and middle men are dirty spivs. Put together I believe if Kenwright had jibbed a serious offer then we'd all know about it. Jesus with today's social media and Blue Union bandwagon then it'd be like golden coins dropping from heaven for thousands of disgruntled Blues and jouros alike.

I think there have been loads of commercial mistakes but not enough - yet - to 'throw the baby out with the bathwater'. As it happens I think too many Blues don't appreciate just what a commerical challenge it is at Everton.

Kenwright has said his shares have been available to buy since he got them. That's a long time ago.

Rob Earl etc dont want to sell though unless they make some money out of it.

People supported it because they were spoon fed with crap like "Effectively free" and Goodison was going to fail its safety certificate.

Dont you remember 'a gang of drunken knobhead Evertonians?'

Agreed it wasnt him but it was his 'PR' guard dog, Ross.

What was wrong with Ashley or Hicks though, Dell boy?

I mean I wouldn't want an owner who's committed war crimes like City or who will change our name and shirt colour like Cardiff either but what was wrong with those two, exactly?

Do you remember the question asked and accompanying visuals?
