Kenwright should,nt be have to be put under preasure, he should do the right thing and step aside for the future of the club.

I tell you now if he wanted this club to be sold, it would be done in the summer.
I agree - the club should be easy to sell. And I agree - Kenwright isn't looking for a buyer.

He hasn't done the 'right thing' for 15 years, so surely pressure is in order?

I heard that myself mate ,does anyone know any more about this ? He talks about it as though its common knowledge but if they have f***ed it up through greed again this should be out in the open.
Did they honestly think Champions League was ever really on the cards? It was always a long shot.
When are we ever going to revolt against this board ?

...he was on to it a month or so ago, suggesting he was close to somebody involved in the deal. He makes out that he is ITK about such things, but who honestly knows. I think the Champions League bit was his suggestion as to why the deal fell through rather than a definite. You have to think that buyers are not being encouraged by this regime even if this particular instance is not totally accurate.

No I'm saying that a poll on an Internet forum is liable to suffer from sample bias isn't it? The silent majority are by their very nature, silent, so their opinion isn't taken into account at all in that poll. That's a lot of votes....
Even allowing for sample bias , the poll on here has swung around 2% in favour of the current board in the last few months. If you did an internet forum poll for most clubs for or against the board, it is almost a given that there would be a majority against, the vociverous extreme of any supporters group are always the most likely to vote. In a general election, half the population doesn't bother..in a forum vote, only a very small percentage will bother. I think if it were possible to have a compulsory vote on any match day at GP, the usual suspects would get a nasty surprise.

Scenes at the Wigan household. I expect a telegram is already en-route to shaftsbury Ave to inform him of this dramatic news.

Oh well. I will leave you to your dry sherry, blanket warmer and VHS tapes of "Stepping Out" for the afternoon.

Enjoy

Go on. Deflect Deflect Deflect. A 2% shift is quite significant in terms of the total vote. The team is doing well. Its summer The usual suspects play the same old record all the time, and when they are asked for evidence, or are put in a position were proper debate is required they deflect with silly jokes and meaningless jibes. There are ways to ask questions of the board, and you haven't yet found the way....all you does is try to impress people with your supposed 'superior' inside knowledge, and vilify anyone who doesn't agree with your pathetic stance. If you have evidence of any activities by the board at Everton which are outside the legalities of normal business practice, then lets all have the evidence, and then I'll personally drive you to the nearest police station so that you can report it.
And actually, its nearer 3%. It was 75% ...now down to almost 72%. Total votes 671. In real terms, taking the whole fan base into account, I think you'll find that you and the rest of the suspects are just a small group of agitators, with no real purpose in the grand scheme of things. Tell you what , heres an original idea for you. Why not watch the football next season, and enjoy it. All these phoney fears and conspiracy theories won't help your health.

That was an expressed opinion. I was warned for using that word some months ago, but it seems others are using it without warning, so its apprently OK now
It actually isnt mate. Just cos we cant read every single post on here, does not mean an over looked transgression as been approved in some way

@Steve Wigan

Good. Id rather it wasn't used, like some other words. But there does seem to be a lot of unauthorised name calling going on, although I appreciate that you can't see everything. Earlier in this thread someone used that word and is now boasting that mods must agree with him because he hasn't been warned.

.

Why is there always nastiness in this thread?

It's ok to have differing opinions and still all be Evertonians you know.

"You like Bill, you're not a proper blue" or "you hate Bill, you're not a proper blue". Then the insults start.

Where's the need?

So stop crying and use the report to moderator function. Mods aren't alive just to trawl through posts in this stupid thread.

Miss Saigon story, still waiting here.
You missed it. And it wasn't Miss Saigon. Davek didn't like it, he misunderstood and thought I said that Bill was blaming his fellow board members for 'everything' which I wasn't. Ask Davek, I'm sure he'll give you an unbiased report.

Please report such incidents in future. We do not tolerate such behaviour, so report it rather than taking matters in to your own hands.
