Well if Sharpy is to be believed (and I see no reason why he shouldn't be) there was a group of about 100 that dispersed fairly quickly once they realised they were marching with a man in a clown costume.

One thing bugging me about this Alan Brazil comment is the source of his information, could it be from a certain freelancing journalist ?
Hmm the mind boggles. LOL !!

They didnt.

They demanded that the sale of the club should be conducted by professional people who have worldwide connections with a CV of having achieved the selling of sports clubs before.
And so poorly explained themselves as feeling this way that years later they're seen, by the vast majority of Evertonians, as a fringe group without leadership or good ideas.

That's one of the problems here. If Kenwright is terrible, it's up to his detractors to provide a viable alternative. That has bee very poorly done in the past, and Kenwright remains popular with the vast majority of fans even without investing a dime - why do you think that is?

There has been no true populist movement for change. The fans HAVE power over this board - just look to the badge debacle. The fans initiated that change. If you could raise fan interest in this issue half as successfully, we'd see change at some level. So rather than being condescending and patronizing to fellow blues, I recommend you attempt to win hearts and minds to your cause.

Shouting CHANGE is a waste of time among Evertonians - we tend to be cynics and need to be swayed. So sway us. Organize a group - or revive the Blue Union - that proactively tries to find areas for improvement and puts them reasonably and concisely to the board and the public at large. That would probably be the most effective way for change to be enacted. One way or another, good ideas don't hurt anything, whereas hostility helps nothing.
