I think an inbetween is what we all want really, isn't it? We hate man city but we hate being skint.

A billionaire Evertonian?

NTL investment failure.....Kings Dock stadium failure.......numerous smaller failures = terrible debt*

* acknowledges that historical context has been given here which is verboten
I never said where it came from. The point is that the money isn't going into the board's pocket, and even if it was it's a poor method of generating profits due to the fact it requires a manager to buy cheaply successfully.

If we're maximizing profits, we sell shirts and mugs and videos and keychains and merchandise!

Today's particular GOT civil war was started due to comments by Alan Brazil.

Since when was he an Everton ITK, or have I forgotten?

Could Alan Brazil be the free lancing sports journalist along with his cohort Mike Parry ?
This whole saga has me aroused my suspicion, dirty work afoot me thinks.

If the club is ever sold, it will be for more than 20 million. None of the major shareholders are in financial difficulty AFAIK. Their investment is growing fast, there is no reason to cash in. Earl knows well when to hold and when to fold. Even if a ludicrously high offer comes in, it may not be enough to convince him to sell. This puts kenwright in the position that he needs to both convince someone to buy the club and convince the other shareholders to sell a sure thing investment. This is not going to happen. As long as so much money is flowing in to the league, Evertons faceless investors will sit on what they have, They'll neither sell nor invest, they don't have to. The best way to progress the club is to keep the pressure on the management, Elstone and the like. Always demand as much from the off field team as the on field team. Forget about the board, they'll stick with their sure thing.
