The Everton Board Thread

I am not criticising the supporters who turned up today as it is obviously well intentioned but I didnt think it was a good idea to arrange this so soon after the season end.
I felt it was too soon after the last game with the fans exhausted by it all and just needing a break for a couple of weeks. Maybe see if there are any changes at the club and if not then start the protests again.

Yeah, and it would've been better to go ahead when you known you're going to have a big attendance, some kind of big all-day event with invited journos. This is extremely token.

not sure of the numbers who showed up but think it was essential at this time and I say fair play that they are being proactive. we need change. July will be too late. we cannot go into another season with these idiots in charge.

If there was any form of communication from the club that there was unlikely to be a change of the board, then a much larger turnout would probably have occurred. A reasonably safe assumption is that many who want change are confident that it will happen and fairly soon. Watch the numbers increase if that change is stalling the nearer July approaches. A new broom well before pre-season is overdue and necessary.

As soon as the season ended was the perfect time to do it.
The board can’t be allowed to give themselves a pat on the back for barely surviving for another season.

This is a perfect example of how protests out of season will never work.
It has to be match day. It has to be in numbers, and next year, early on, if there is no change, it has to be disruptive.
Everyone did the right thing end of this season, kept calm, classy and supportive.
Don't think can get away with that again if no change, or a shocking summer.

These others are going to hang on in until they get paid off by new investors

I think the heat is really on Moshiri now, he’ll desperately want to stay out of focus right now
