The Everton Board Thread

I'm still clutching, but as there is total silence, I still believe in the fact that, as far as this board is concerned they are all "done" but under NDA!

I am grasping. But. Im trying to dig on how this 3 (?) Board member requirement works, sure good folks on here will know? and how the transition from existing to new would work and the mechanism for how it would be disclosed?

My point is that the silence could be/is a requirement set out under NDA by Moshiri(Out!!!)and the prospective funding(MSP?)and has to be adhered to and the lone release from Kenwright(Out!!!) was just a pre-agreed one?

I'm totally bewildered by the total silence, so there has to be rationale. I really can't see it just being down to wilful disregard for the fanbase, even though we know that's a thing with this shower 😡.

Will this silence be followed by a quick flurry of activity and action once the complexities are done?

Anyone?

one of two things it has to be, they are on collective "Gardening leave", for dereliction of duty, my preferred option. Or worse they are in hiding and having a mass sulk, dummies fully spat out because nobody loves them. So what's left to think, is Thelwell running the show, is he deciding whose going, whose contracts are being torn up and are local media newspapers throwing out rumours whose supposedly coming in. What a mess what a way to run a football club. The silence is deafening.

Unofficial gardening leave is probably closer to the reality of things.

Things at the RLB will likely be being headed up by Richard Kenyon in the absence of DBB, and Kevin Thelwell will likely have the ‘power’ to offer contract extensions.

As far as going into the transfer market, I think we need to brace ourselves for a simple scenario whereby unless one or two are sold, we will not be spending.

Thelwell will or should be trawling the free transfer and possible loan markets… bargain basement time again folks for the foreseeable… as with Moshiri closing the chequebook and no board members around to sign off any deals… his hands are somewhat tied.

A decent summary of our current position
I’m afraid our Farhad appears to be a bit if a Walter Mitty as well as Bill. Just live in fantasy land hoping things will be ok

I know mate, it's truly shocking. Any other company would be taken to task in some sort of official action, yet we effectively have the police, policing the police.

I astonished and so angry at just how bad it has really got.

I mentioned garden leave few weeks back & I think @AndyC also mentioned previously and again today. For me it's the only explanation that makes sense. Even if in hiding to protect their "pension pots/pay offs" and under NDA the club to say absolujack is a disgrace and in contempt of one of the most loyal, fervent and passionate fans.

It's desperate. I don't see a good Summer ahead and even less on the expectations of the upcoming season.

It's a bloody travesty and tragic.

Can't see a good Summer myself, it's like we are in limbo and the longer it goes on, the worse it gets. Kenwright knows this and it looks like Kenwright first ..again, true blue my ass.

I do believe the investment or takeover will happen 'too late' for us to make meaningful moves on the transfer market, leading us yet another deadline day scramble for 3-4 players but only ending up with 1 free transfer and 1 on loan. We'll probably have sold Pickford and Onana by then as well.

Well aren’t you a barrel of laughs - there’s my Monday motivation!

Sadly, as it’s us, you might be right and if so we’re royally screwed.

Then we'll know what a bunch of bloodsuckers we're dealing with if that happens.

I dont trust MSP. I'd rather they loaned cash for the stadium and kept well away from any shareholding and the boardroom.
