The Everton Board Thread

I think of this as an insight into how the club typically operates under these frauds. Imagine being another club trying to do transfer business with them
"we'll think it over and get back to you before the end of the week" and then a month goes by and then deadline day comes and they're all over the place trying to get things done in time.

Charlatans the lot of them

Been thinking about various theories about what this blown deadline means.

None are good, they all reflect badly on Everton and the people running the club.

My current favourite, though, is that Kenwright had no firm desire to go - and no idea he was going to be mentioned in this statement.

The '48 hours' being slipped in as a way of forcing him to admit defeat against a public ticking clock - but he just doesn't fancy it, or doesn't want to play ball.

Alternatively - and this would be the most charitable theory - negotiations with MSP are at a delicate stage and the announcement of the plan has been bumped back while it's still falling into place.

My theory is that the Board resigned earlier than Moshiri expected and that has left him in a bit of a bind

On another note is there any other board at premier league level that hates its own fans as much as ours? Since Ashley left NUFC I can't think of any

After those three ne’er do wells jumped ship Bill has stayed on to convince Farhad that Bill and only Bill can save us. Bill’ll save us, you’ll see…
