I'd say that it's been pretty obvious for about 24 months, pretty much since they thought it was a great idea to bring in Benitez.

No one in their right mind would trust anything that comes out the club, (the hierarchy), but there's obviously stuff going on, there are many facets.

Whether you believe them or not (and I don't) when the statement came out last week what was said in the statement was "The outgoing Directors have worked tirelessly over recent months to assist with the preparation for a transition to a new Board". All them months of silence and gaslighting all them months of protesting, and they didn't have the decency to communicate what they were up to. Was it secrecy? Probably not I think more radio silence. Something that this board are/were very good at, along with self-congratulating plaudits and hissing at the fan base.

Moshiri could have removed board members at any time since his arrival but he hasn't. He is the most culpable and an incompetent coward to boot.

Just a thought, and likely wide of the mark, but couldn’t it be Usmanov holding back everything on purpose as a kick back against the UK sanctioning him? After all, there’s a pretty high probability that he’s the real owner and Moshiri is simply the puppet.
