Meanwhile the Everton board frantically search for available loan signings…..

There won’t be. Most of the fanbase couldn’t give one about the clubs owners. They’re more bothered about who the manager is. Always have been. If we don’t get off to a good start, Lampard will take all the flak and then this board will do their number one deflection trick and change manager again, and once again most of the fanbase will fall for it and settle right back down again.
If any manager is stupid enough to take Bill's dime while being actively undermined - as Benitez was - then he deserves to get the bullet by November's World Cup break.

The one thing that perplexes me about Benitez is how he could have allowed himself to be so spectacularly duped. I mean, did he really think he would only get 1.7m to spend in the summer window? Was he promised something more substantial? So, either he was lied to or he was overweeningly arrogant to imagine his brilliance would get him by on a pittance of a budget.

If Lampard can't see where this is going this summer, he's an idiot.

We have to stop blaming the managers though. When will the fans start to realise that the board are setting them up to fail time after time. Even Carlo gets us to Boxing Day 2nd in the league and the club get rid of Moise Kean and bring in Josh King, a player Carlo clearly didn’t want, as our only business. They’re just complete and utter amateurs.

We need to hold out for the best one for the club.

Moshiri at least owes us that.
He'll be off as soon as he can, irrespective of whether or not it's the best deal for the club! As soon as Usmanov was sanctioned the major source of our funding ground to a halt, and as at that point Moshiri would have been looking for a way out. Not one bit of his way out will have included what's best for Everton Football Club!

I went to my local Halfords the other day to pick up some bits for my van. The staff in there looked like they drank the leather conditioner and didn’t know what click and collect was despite them offering the service for probably over a decade. Eventually I had to point them in the direction of the massive locker just behind the toll with the sign saying click and collect on it.

As I finally walked out with my bits my overbearing thought wasn’t about the terrible customer service or the inept staff it was “this lot could do a job in the Everton boardroom I reckon”.

I like Frank and am a big supporter of him, but I really don’t see a world in which he’s here at this point next season. It’s complete turmoil at the club, even the most experienced of managers would struggle to hold it down during this period.

Unfortunately, I believe this will come to pass. He must be seeing all this and thinking what the hell is going on.

If not, then he really should be thinking it!

Personally think we are entering an even darker period, which on the last few years may seem far-fetched but its not looking great and it is truly Heart-Breaking from a Fan Base perspective.
