I wouldn't exaggerate Kenwright's influence now though.KEIOC we’re far too clever for Billy Boy and his backers, they knew The Kirkby plan wouldn’t come off months and months before it was kicked into touch. Despite this and all the other devious plans and statements Kenwright has come up with he is still here conniving with his hand picked cronies on the board, one of them in America enjoying the holiday now, Graeme Sharp, what is the point of him being there? A bit like Mr. Brands being there last year instead of being in Europe searching for much needed players, mind you we were skint then as we are now.
He's David Brent going back to the Office...I wouldn't exaggerate Kenwright's influence now though.
He's a nuisance rather than being critical to the club's direction. He doesn't make maor decoisipons anymore...and didn't even before Moshiri when Green was in charge. That was the case under Moshiri and it will be again under any other owner. His and the other hanger's on biggest drawback is that they take up space where an industry professional should be.
Exactly. He's David Brent going back to the Office...
They can use their influence to suggest we're linked with rubbish players to underline we're unambitious, or that we face legal action and demotion or that the club is under a hostile takeover bid...ALL of those things are what the Telegraph have done in the last 2 months.I'm not sure how exactly a journalist could destabilise Everton. We are not exactly the definition of stable.
I've said this before: there's something going on with the Telegraph and their obsessive interest in Everton.
I believe they have a clutch of writers who are intent on destablising this club. I dont know precisely why (possibly they are working to the agenda of a possible prospective new owner), but no other newspaper other than the Echo share their interest in Everton and the stories are usually disruptive.
I dont trust Bascombe, Law et al.
Bascombe is very close to Kenwright.
Billyboy wants his trainset back... Maybe has a mate interestedSomething not right about him and the rest of the Telegraph hacks and their interest in Everton.
It suggests to me that they are working toward getting Moshiri out and they wont be concerned about who to.
I'd urge every Evertonian to treat all news stories from that source with extreme suspicion.
He'll be there currying favour with a new owner, telling them that he can smooth the way with his soft power via the media.Billyboy wants his trainset back... Maybe has a mate interested
Exactly they're literally writing a story about events that are happening nothing spurious whatsoever. People are indignant over percieved mismanagement so protests have been planned. No nefarious agendaShock horror.
Sports journalist writes scathing article, about the dysfunctional, incompetent hierarchy, of a Premier League club, coming apart at the seams.
Why does everything have to be a conspiracy ?
why does this statement say that the mismanagement of footballing operations is being addressed by Lampard and Thelwell? Seems a bit of a definitive statement to make with no evidence to suggest it will be any different
You think the departures of Unsworth and Ferguson weren’t anything to do with the new DoF ?why does this statement say that the mismanagement of footballing operations is being addressed by Lampard and Thelwell? Seems a bit of a definitive statement to make with no evidence to suggest it will be any different
There is nothing in that article that is critical of the board. It highlights failings on the part of Moshiri in wasting money but, fails totally to address him not changing the board from Day One.I've said this before: there's something going on with the Telegraph and their obsessive interest in Everton.

That's not what I said though. I said the Telegraph are looking to undermine the owner and the club is in their sights because of that. If they enjoyed the connivance of Kenwright et all I wouldn't be at all surprised. There is nothing in that article that is critical of the board. Not one critical word against BK or DBB for being completely ineffective as Chair and CEO respectively.
I’d go as far to say that we’ve actually gotten more dysfunctional since DBB and that Russian bloke came inThere is nothing in that article that is critical of the board.
