The Everton Board Thread

Few things here

1) wasn’t Denise looking for new job and on notice last December ?
2) Kenwrights a seat sniffing Tory nonce
3) how come we’ve known forever we need another forward , nothing really being mentioned and my money is on that we don’t have one signed early January and if we do they won’t be fit enough to start for ages.

DBB - an utter charlatan.

We needed a leader who could make independent decisions and who was an industry specialist with a lot of experience in the business world. We got...well...her.

She's not the only clown at that club I know, but she's the avatar for this era of the club. A spare arse part.
But hang on, Chairman Bill claims she's "The best in the business."

What an embarrassing idiot.
A 120 point plan only demonstrates just how broken everything was at the club before. It's an admission on their part how wrong things were. But's there's zero accountability for those failings. Instead they're trying to get acclaim for a 120 point plan!!
This is spot on. If he only had a 5 point plan, it would suggest he didn't recognise the failings of the past God knows how many years.

A lot has been said about all the new hires and reshuffle at Finch Farm. If the new hires are just 5% better than who they replaced its progress.

Our utterly incompetent board should have been on top of this. A fella with fresh eyes has come in and pointed out the bleeding obvious to them and they describe it as a 'Robust plan' or some nonsense.

It's basics, Denise.
When we are safe from relegation.
Should of done it last year, not had a party
Not beating Brentford in the days before Palace was a massive missed opportunity.

It would have allowed the fans use our final home game to let those in charge know exactly how they felt.

Instead, it ended with an (understandable) party and everyone in charge going home genuinely believing the love was universal.

Any functioning company wouldn’t allow its board to underperform so regularly with the repercussions being the bullet. The fact Kenwright has clung on so long is crazy - he should have exited when he brought Moshiri in having overseen years of abject failure, he could have taken the “glory” of finding a new owner…

No one knew at the time how utterly inept Moshiri would turn out to be on football matters. To churn through so many managers whilst spunking obscene amounts of cash without a plan is absolutely mental. Reminds me of being back at uni age 18, going into Wade Smith to buy overpriced clothes and belling for a drop offs til all hours with me loan.

The stadium is also a worry if we get relegated, although I do think if anyone is genuinely interested in buying us, why would you do that now with things so finely balanced and so little time to actually implement a plan to survive. You can pick us up on the (relative) cheap next year if the worst happens and make your upside by investing a lot less in the squad with the carrot of getting back into the Prem. The stadium will need same level of funding to complete whatever happens.

That may also be a reason why we don’t sack Frank. He did OK with Derby in that league with a gang of loanees. I don’t think he’s the right man but we can’t keep sacking. Just hope we scrape enough points to live to fight another day in the Prem and we actually find some forwards who don’t stink the place out.

Sorry for the long post.

Remember when they appointed this guy to the board because they thought we'd all be chuffed and forget how badly we're run lol

Which one mate ?

Which one mate ?
Both as qualified as each other as a non-exec director.

Infact, the one on the left is better suited because a non-exec director shouldn't be an employee of the organisation.

Our former number 9 is an employee so can't be objective.

As others have said, it's just another layer of protection for Kim Jung Bill.

The disgusting slug.

The question I always have is 'how are we at a point we cant spend much ?'
Since Moshiri has come in we have spent around £250 million NET - Thats almost 7.5 season I think - £33 million spent per season.
I know our wages are quite hight but we only stand around 6th - 9th in that period.

£250 million - Surely this is club money and not his own cash.

£225 Cost to buy the club
£50 - £100 Million on manager pay outs
£100 - £150 Million on Stadium costs
£100 Million Debt to shares

This looks to be the £500 million or so Moshiri has shelled out on us.

Around £300 million yet to pay for ground. So £800 Million would give Moshiri his money back and pay for the ground.

Still not sure why we are so skint, money ringfenced / paying Mosh back !?! I dont know.

Shame is Bill drags everyone down with him, Sharpie was adored as a player, great player always gave 100%, winner. As a person, he tows the line Bill gives him. Won't ever forget the one man and his dog quote when he was actually laughing at Everton fans, one being me.

Think FFP has a lot to do with why we can't spend that much and has done for the last two or three years mate.

I'm guessing a lot of it has to do with our wage bill over these last 6 or 7 years. Huge contracts for mediocre players and short term decisions like handing James an enormous contract to hardly play.

Don Hutchison is the latest one on twitter got in a massive row with a load of folk the other day because he was singing the virtues of how great BK is.

Point of order on point 2.

Fixed.
