Everything was rosy before Farhad turned up, stability, playing in Europe, coming top 6, getting in the top 4, buying players like Lukaku.... then Farhad turned up, bought us players like Bolasie, and the rest is unpleasant history
It might have been on the pitch, off the pitch the club was a 'kin shambles. When the PL started football became a business and that stuff matters and that is where Kenwright repeatedly failed time and time again and it all happened long before Moshiri got here. Just on Moshiri btw, you should maybe target some of ire towards Usmanov a bit more, at the end of the day Farhad is just his bagman and as soon as the Putin stuff started that was when Moshiri moved out the picture so I think Farhad just does what he is told like a good little boy.

True about Usmanov, and his Nephew being shoehorned on the board was very sketchy. On the pitch and off the pitch, what goes on during the 90 minutes is always the most important part, ok we never would of got a ground without Moshiri but if the relegation comes with it id rather of stayed at Goodison.

No it wasn’t, we had a manager who was able to work miracles with nothing, it was a one in a million chance

85p in every pound blah blah, remember that as an excuse for not being able to spend for 8 years whilst every other team was growing off the pitch

He’s a charlatan and you’re a bootlicking happy clapper

one in a million chance ? Credit to Bill then for managing to get him, when did Moshiri get anyone decent?
Fact is you are annoyed because Bills successor is doing a much worse job and Rafael's successor is doing a much worse job, you wanted to be able to say "Look I was right, we are better without them" but you cant

Err bill wanted Gary Megson, luckily enough Walter Smith convinced him to go after someone with actual footballing sense.
-10 points for saying bill deserves credit for listening to others[/ICODE]

Yeah its well known he wanted Megson, but the fact he was willing to take advice is testament to what a good chairmen he is, he listens too others, he takes advice for the goood of the club, he got it right

I just wondered who the chairman was through that period mate. They ultimately have to accept most responsibility.
Problem is if you judge him as chairman when he owned the club its a world away from him as chairman working under a dangerous owner, that's the problem.
Either way, we have to think about the future, and nobody is thinking about what Moshiri does next if Bill goes, that's the real worry

He should be judged as chairman. He is the most senior exec on the board. So can you let us know who has been chairman over the last 7 years?
