The Everton Board Thread

There is absolutely nothing to be gained from delaying the INEVITABLE sacking of Lampard. All you are doing is reducing the window of opportunity to make a difference.

If he is given the Southampton game, then the fan focus needs to be on protest rather than support because the board are simply taking the piss out of you!
The Southampton game is a must win, a six pointer. We need to ignore whatever is going on at our club and get behind the team. When we win then that’s the time to have a sit in protest about the board.

what other company would keep on an employee, who was basically given notice over a year ago, with the unbelievable premise that she has to find another job first... Welcome to Bill Kenwrights Everton folks, money to burn, not his like, never his. :) clap, clap, clap.
It’s even more of an indictment where the person concerned is a director of said company. Embarassing from a governance perspective.

I don’t agree mate. The board needs to do their job rather than lounging about on the couch backing the wrong horse just because they can’t be arsed to make a change.

If they are still persisting with Lampard against Southampton, and dare I say it ‘Giving him one last chance’ like a victim with Stockholm syndrome, then I think all bets are off. They are practically begging for relegation if they do that, win or no win against Southampton!

If Lampard remains in charge against Southampton, the focus should be on protest and not drumming up support to help the little players have enough to beat the worst side in the league at home. Sod that! Enough is enough!

Can I remind you, supporters job, (it’s in the name) is to support. That first and protest the board is secondary, when we forget that we are done anyway.

We’ve provided support in our droves! Can I remind you that the job of the board is to direct! And not to lay around on the sofa every day before getting the train up to Liverpool so you can impress your friends in the hospitality suite on match day!

Keeping Lampard and continuing our support no matter what are the actions of an an unfortunate battered housewife that wants to give her abuser ‘one last chance’ to see if he can change! Enough of that already! The focus should be on protest if the board still haven’t done any work come Southampton!

"SACK THE BOARD"
But you can't. You have to rely on integrity, shame, admittance of competence, and for them to quit.
It fact DB has quit but still gets free hotpot.

I’m all for protest, just not at the expense of supporting the team. Have a sit in afterwards, otherwise we are just shooting ourselves in the foot.

I’m (once again) left confused and frustrated at the board’s strategy here. Various journos are saying Lampard will be given at least the cup game or possibly the 2 massive league games that follow it.

If they’ve decided Lampard isn’t up to the job then he needs to be sacked now. They’ve learnt nothing from last season when Benitez was sacked at the end of January, leaving no transfer window for Lampard to have a say in. If they are planning to get rid, it needs to happen now, so a new appointment can quickly be made and they would have over a week before our next league game.

Every decision they make is a disaster. In fact, that should be their new strategy-collectively make a decision they all agree on, then do the exact opposite as that will probably be the right thing to do.
They are disgustingly poor at their job. We will go absolutely nowhere forwards with them in charge.

If we are so skint that there is no money to spend, why doesn’t Blue Bill remortgage his house again? It’s no doubt gone up in value since the last time that he didn’t do it! Or he could use some of the millions he made from selling us to an absolute mentalist like Moshiri!
No money to spend so no transfers for him to meddle with, a great time to step down and exit stage left.

Mate, I heard he's peronally going to autpgraph AND offer 50% off on Amazon for all DVD and Blueray copies of Cheri..
