Absolutely. Toffee TV are always having a pop at the board. They are more likely to suck up to ex pros than anyone active at Everton.
Don't get me wrong, Ped is a bell in the way he shouts at people who disagree with him and when he gets his face all red as talks over people's valid arguments but I think they genuinely care more about Everton than how their channel is viewed by those in power.

I only watch it for PED’s meltdowns, they’re ace, the other day he blew his top because someone called him a taxi driver on the live chat and he ended up on a 2 minute rant about the tories.

Playing their own agenda mate, they will cozy up to pressure groups, get the inside track, in turn get first dibs on developments, open letters etc, mutually beneficial relationship there. Be seen taking the fans side, great marketing. Shake the tree with the club and the content keeps on coming. Ultimately as I said in the other thread, someone at the club will be thrown to the Wolves. More Drama, Drama = headlines and content.

Oh no, I missed that. I saw someone take the pee out of him for that about 3 years ago and he went in a rant then. It was brilliant. He's entertaining for all the wrong reasons. He says he doesn't let the haters get to him but he does.
He is often more right than wrong when it comes nes to the club but he has no professional bone in his body.

Honestly he’s my spirit animal in terms of everything he says about Everton, I usually agree with all of it, but yeah he’s not really built for being a public figure with his anger issues.

All th Echo were pushing for today was another open letter from the club so they could be seen to have taken an active interest in one of the area's biggest organisations.

It's a box ticked.

I don't think wolves will appreciate our players being thrown at them

Colonel it’s got absolutely nothing to with free tickets it’s about the mean spirited chairman of Everton FC who can’t stand the truth being spoken about the way he has abused his running of the club.
