Surely if such an assault had occurred the police would have been involved, and they leak like a sieve.

Surely they wouldn’t stoop that low. My issue is with the timing . They left it this long to outsource it to the press with no arrests etc.

Legally it isn't though, if they don't name a specific person...they can hide behind a random fan did it that they are too high, too mighty and too forgiving to take it further with and will graciously not be pressing charges...pricks
