Interesting. But despite SJ saying lots about how things could have been differently by the club, he still throws in a comment about Viera being hit in the face by an Everton fan. These guys literally can’t help themselves!!!! I will look forward to his retraction!!!!

Yeh he says some good bits but both of them are nobs. Ask the lad on the phone for his opinion then tell him it’s wrong lol

BBC there.

Why has it turned so sour at Goodison Park?

With Everton 19th in the Premier League at the halfway point and the club's directors told to stay away from Goodison Park due to a real and credible threat to their safety, why has it turned so sour at Goodison Park?

BBC Sport's chief football writer Phil McNulty outlines the issues on The Football News Show and tells Ben Croucher that the atmosphere at Everton is as toxic and dysfunctional as he's known.

Meanwhile, former Everton defender Alan Stubbs tells The Football News Show the Toffees will be relegated unless changes are made and says the fans' relationship with Frank Lampard has turned in recent weeks.

They finish off that (or another clip) to rubbish the claims the board have made a narrative against the fans...

Yet the lead headlines are "Board don't attend game due to safety concerns" and "genuine threats to the board".

None of that has come from the fans. It came from the board a few hours before kick off and sent to all news outlets.

So how can it not be? Idiots

I think a billionaire with half a brain will buy a club and bring a board of Directors with a proven track record.... not keep the same failing staff...
Exactly. Get rid of the board, employ good football people from top to bottom and watch one of England's biggest clubs progress in a brand new stadium back by 50,000 of the best supporters in the land. We could be a right little bargain for somebody out there.
