No proof or anything, but when Bill took over from Johnson, I had the distinct impression at the time that BK and his consortium weren't exactly troubled by the threats and acts of intimidation to Peter Johnson. He was hanging around like a bad smell and had to have police protection. He was legged out of the club, in fact, with kids throwing themselves at his car like exocet missiles. BK and Gregg benefitted from that IMO.

In a sense that makes it worse. Bill Kenwright at least is consistent. It's been about him front, right and centre forever. The fact that Sharp did so much for the club for so long on the pitch and has now become a Kenwright apologist and sold his soul for silver is even worse. Nothing worse than a traitor.
