Rumour had it many years ago we signed players late in the window just to save on their wages. And that was going back to even the early days of Moyes.

You usually just end up with the scraps no one else wants doing that but hey ho it saved Kenwright et al a few quid.

The sheer incompetence is probably TBE most annoying aspect of this club. If they took their time but delivered good players, fine, but they don't. They take forever to bring in crap, constantly.

I said a few weeks back those protests should have been about getting Lampard out and getting players into this squad to save us.

The "sack the board" stuff has been a dangerous distraction away from issues that are walking us to the cliff edge.
