The Everton Board Thread

There’s a crap picture of the main 3 guys from MSP Sports Capital at a game that might look like ours where they were supposedly said to be pictured in the stands.

They are Bill’s worst nightmare.

Think they're just another shady yank vulture capitalist group mate. Looking at their portfolio of football clubs not one has seen any injection of cash or achieved ought.

My guess is Moshiri sells 30-40% to them, they put some money up to finish off BMD then they all sell up in a few years with BMD/future record TV deals make the clubs value skyrocket.

They aint coming here to sportswash their image by winning trophies or through a genuine love of football.

sale when we’re down look at my post in the moshiri thread
Just seen it mate. According to the Esk who's usually bang on with finances he said the loss to the club would be 90m and up if we go down. I think a deal is already done at a set price and just being ironed out hence the asset stripping.

I think we've already been /are close to being sold - gentleman's agreement etc between parties. I think it's been being worked on since the rumours in the summer.

It seems like Moshiri is now asset stripping to cover losses he'll obviously incur on the sale and I'd imagine he'll want to sell before finding out if we get relegated or not ensuring further price drops.

He and Usmanov were not expecting the spanner in the works of Ukraine nor two back to back relegation battles at the same time.

I can't see any reason for them to hold on to the club now and I can't see any other reason for lack of reinvestment considering where we are in the table. If you'd no intent of selling and were committed to your investment then you'd be putting in every penny you could to ensure survival - see other clubs around us. Wouldn't be surprised for it to come out before the season ends that we've been sold. Even keeping the board in situ is telling.

Yeah only thing I can think of too.

The asset stripping element.

I am Robert Elstone

I bet you are.

Tell me Bob, you did loads of decent charity work, more than I could ever do because I’m a crap human so you’re already winning against me, but anyway, what do you think the chances are that Farhad is pulling one on Bill here?

He’s fed up of the romantic Hornby collector, it hasn’t worked out. He’s hatched a plot to sell some of his share to an investment vehicle (sound familiar?) that is going to topple Bill and turn the club and the new stadium into a footballing powerhouse.

Then he can finally do what he hoped me could do knowing absolutely nothing about football and just making money, and helping out mates, like rich people do.

Farhad doesn’t want people to hate him. He’s just a bit crap at this, so bring in MSP Sport Capital USA to sort it all out.

How am I doing Bob?

Asset stripping?

Didn't we do this a decade ago with mortgating off the ground, selling off FF, maybe other things?

This is a desperate desperate club

Agreed, Bill’s worst nightmare.
